Cherry Grove Pier

If you want to venture to the section of North Myrtle Beach known as Cherry Grove, you can visit the Cherry Grove Fishing Pier. Although this pier has been battered by past hurricanes, it has made a comeback and is a popular fishing spot along the Grand Strand. For those who just wish to enjoy the sites of the ocean rather than fish, the pier has a double story viewing platform. They too have a Tackle, Bait and Gift Shop so you won’t even need to leave the pier to get supplies for your day of fishing or fun. This pier offers fishing passes, rod rentals, crab nets and King Mackerel passes. Fishing is allowed all month except December and January and walking passes are available for $2 a person.
