Entrance to the Myrtle Beach State Park Pier is free with paid admission to the Myrtle Beach State Park, so be sure to check it out during your visit. Plus, their fishing fees, at $5 for those 16 and older, won’t break the bank. If your fishing pole didn’t fit in your suitcase, don’t worry because you can rent a fishing pole at their on-site store.

During the summer you might be lucky enough to catch flounder, barracuda or amberjack. In the winter season, a variety of fish are also around including sea bass, tarpon and speckled trout.
