We are excited to welcome you to our brand new resort web site. We
have been working diligently on our new design since late May, when the
original design of this new site was selected over two other designs by
our guests in an email survey that was sent out at the end of May.
This design that you are looking at was the overwhelming favorite of
our voters, as nearly 90% of all responses chose this version over the
other two proof pages. (To view the email that we sent to our guests
Click Here. Note that the links are still valid to our test pages, though sadly we have already chosen our contest winner.)
During
that time we received a lot of great feedback on many things that we
didn't think much about, but that mattered to you as a perspective
visitor to Myrtle Beach. For example, we have added an Area Info
section that shows many of the great things to do while in Myrtle Beach
and a lot of the different attractions, shows and golf courses that we
can book directly for you with one phone call. We even received
requests to include the current weather forecast right on the home
page, as we found that there are many of our visitors who are longing
for an upcoming beach vacation, and are trying to set themselves right
here in Myrtle Beach during their daily grind. We want to thank all of
you who were involved in the process and offered many great comments or
just your vote!
While you are at our site, you will find that we
have tried to make things easily navigable throughout the site. Our
top five current specials and top four golf packages are listed right
on the home page. We have new robust photo galleries, an entirely
revamped meetings section to detail the many talents of our sales and
catering team, our blog entries updating many of Myrtle Beach's latest
events and some other improvements that will hopefully assist on your
journey through our site.
If you have any comments or
suggestions on our new site, please feel free to email us at
newsite@thecaravelle.com. In the meantime, we hope that you enjoy
using our new site and if your Myrtle Beach getaway seems like it's a
long way away we hope that we can help you place your mind at the beach
with us, if only just for a few moments!
Thanks for visiting!

The Myrtle Beach Pelicans will be welcoming future Hall of Famer and 300 game winner Tom Glavine to the pitcher's mound tonight as he makes a rehab start as he returns from injury and prepares to rejoin the Pelicans' big league parent club, the Atlanta Braves.
Glavine will mark the second appearance for the Pelicans by a National League all star pitcher this season after Mike Hampton made a start for Myrtle Beach in July. This however, will be the first appearance for the Pelicans by a sure fire baseball Hall of Famer, and a sell out crowd is expected to be in attendance to witness this historic occasion.
The Pelicans are celebrating their 10th year in Myrtle Beach and have had quite a season to celebrate the anniversary. Not only have they clinched a playoff berth by wrapping up the first half title, but they also hosted a spectacular all star game between the Carolina League and California League, which brought stars Vanna White, Pelicans investor Eddie George and the now notorious Roger Clemens among the record setting crowd.
As a sponsor of the Pelicans, we are proud to put our name behind such great family entertainment
