We are excited that our third annual Caravelle Cup golf tournament to benefit The First Tee of Myrtle Beach will take place in less than three weeks, running from March 5 - March 8.  After two successful events that have raised in excess of $2500 for The First Tee, our third year offers an exciting addition to the event.  Participants will once again be set in two man teams, as we hold the first round in a Texas Scramble format at Arrowhead Country Club and this year the second round will be a best ball format at the famous Dunes Golf and Beach Club, recently ranked as the 28th best public course in the United States by Golf Digest.

We will have a welcome pairing party on Thursday, March 5 for all participants, as well as our fundraiser party on March 6 for all involved.  Both events will feature complimentary beverages and heavy hors d'oeurves and a lot of fun for all.  Saturday will wrap up the weekend with a post round awards reception.

Packages for the tournament are surprisingly affordable.  Player packages including both rounds of golf and entrance to all three parties is $279 for one person, or $500 per twosome.  Accommodations packages start at only $399, and include three nights accommodations and daily buffet breakfast.

For more information call our golf director, Chad Kwiatkowski at (843) 918-7008 or visit our specials page by Clicking Here.

Bike Week Participants Welcome at The Caravelle!

For as long as we can remember, the weekend after Mother's Day and Memorial Weekend have brought thousands of motorcycles and their owners to the Grand Strand for the Myrtle Beach Harley Davidson Spring Rally and the Atlantic Beach Bikefest, respectively.  With some ordinances relating specifically to motorcycles being put in place in our area, there has been some confusion about whether or not our biker friends are welcome back to the Caravelle, and the answer to that question is a resounding YES!

Since the inception of each rally, we have taken an active role in making each bike weekend as enjoyable as possible for all of the attendees, including covered and 24 hour secured bike parking, free parking for trucks and trailers, bike wash stations and food and drink specials set just for our biker friends.  2009 is going to be no different at The Caravelle!

Before you arrive, we do suggest that you review the new ordinances that have been set in Myrtle Beach city limits.  Keep in mind that these laws apply exclusively within the city limits of Myrtle Beach, and not to the entire Grand Strand.  Click here for the brief version of the new ordinances, and click here for the more detailed version.
