SkyWheel Coming to Myrtle Beach!
SkyWheel Myrtle Beach is the newest attraction to hit Myrtle Beach. Here are some good-to-know facts about the ride set to open in a month!
•It will stand 200 feet above the Atlantic Ocean as the biggest attraction on the new Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Boardwalk.
•SkyWheel will feature 42 fully-enclosed gondolas. Each gondola will be climate-controlled and will comfortably seat up to six passengers. The gondolas will also feature non-reflective glass for perfect picture and video taking.
•There will be one VIP gondola which has all aforementioned amenities plus a glass floor and leather bucket seating.
•The SkyWheel rides will last 8 - 12 minutes.
•One highlight of the SkyWheel is the state-of-the-art computer-generated lighting system with over one million LED lights which will creat an amazing light show each night. A variety of light shows will run nightly.
•SkyWheel is scheduled to open May of 2011, along with the new Landshark Bar and Grill & LandShark Surfshack retail shop, located right near the SkyWheel attraction.
•Adult flights are $12, Children ages 3-11 can fly for $8, Seniors (55+) and Military (with valid ID) are discounted $4, and children 2 and Under ride for Free.
