A short car drive away in either direction, you will find the hottest amusements, entertainment, attractions, tours, more shopping, and golf. Our knowledgeable staff can help you book a round of golf at any of the over 100 golf courses along the Grand Strand, including the famed Dunes Golf and Beach Club, which is ranked annually among the top 50 courses in the United States. The Captain's Quarters Resort staff will help you plan your day or evening in Myrtle Beach, SC and can offer discount tickets to virtually all of Myrtle Beach’s top attractions and theaters.

Policies:
The registered guest must be 21 or older at the time of check-in and provide valid picture ID. Total includes room, resort, booking, destination marketing fees, and taxes as well as any purchased additional services. Taxes and fees subject to change. A $10 per night charge for overnight parking for 1 vehicle will be charged at check-in. Additional on-site parking is not available. Trailers are not permitted on property. No overnight parking for golf carts or mopeds. Check-In time is 4:00 PM or later and checkout is 11:00 AM. The credit card used for the deposit must be presented at check-in, with matching photo ID. Pets are not allowed. A fine of $500 will be assessed if a pet is brought into a unit. Service animals are not considered pets when required to perform a specific duty for the owner, and must be registered at the front desk at check-in. Emotional support animals however are considered pets and are not allowed at any time. An additional $10 per person, per night may be added for adults ages 17 or older; kids 16 or younger stay free within maximum occupancy. Cribs are available on a first come, first serve basis at check in. All special requests are subject to availability upon check in. The first nights room and tax as well as any additional services for the first night of your stay will be charged to your credit card to guarantee your reservation. Local Residents Policy: Captain’s Quarters Resort does not accept reservations or permit occupancy by residents of Horry or Georgetown Counties of South Carolina.
Your remaining balance is due upon check in** and can be paid via major credit card* or debit card. Credit or debit cards must have a VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express logo and must be imprinted with the cardholder’s name; matching photo ID must also be presented. We are unable to accept checks, money orders, cash, pre-paid cards, gift cards or foreign currencies. *A 2.5% convenience fee will be added at check in for credit card payments, however this fee is waived for debit card payments. **Some packages/special offers may have different deposit/payment requirements. Please refer to the details of the rate plan.
A $150 credit card pre-authorization is required at check-in. Pre-Authorization, less any charges, released upon check out. Availability of funds may vary based upon your financial institution and account type and may take 10+ days.
Captain's Quarters' Vacation Interruption Protection (VIP) Plan
Add Captain's Quarters' Vacation Interruption Protection (VIP) Plan to your reservation in order to protect your vacation investment (call for pricing details!). The VIP Plan can be purchased at the time of booking or within 24 hours of booking, and will offer you the following great benefits to give you complete peace of mind before and during your hard earned vacation:
- Cancel any time before 4 PM on your check in day and your deposit will be refunded in full
- Make changes to your reservation as you need*
- In the unfortunate event that your stay is cut short, you will receive a refund for the remaining portion of your stay*
By declining the VIP Plan, you understand that the following will apply to your reservation:
- The reservation deposit is non-refundable
- Any changes made to the reservation, prior to arrival, will incur a $20 fee per change; changes include, but are not limited to date changes and room type changes*
- No refund for early departures
*Any changes will require your booking to be re-calculated based on the current best available rate and the new actual length of stay. Early departures require checkout by 11:00am.
VIP Plan is not valid with winter rental snowbird reservations, third-party reservations, or Advanced Purchase reservations. Other exclusions may apply.
Accidental Damage Protection
- The Accidental Damage Protection Plan is an optional fee that is $39.99.
- This plan provides coverage for up to $1,000 of accidental damage.
- This may include but is not limited to; furniture damage, scratches, scuffs or spills on carpet, bedspreads, broken lamp or scratches or scuffs to walls.
- This fee is non-refundable and is added to your balance.
- Any damage claim must be reported to the resort prior to check-out.
- The Accidental Damage Protection Plan does not cover intentional or malicious damage due to abuse or damage incurred while violating resort guidelines. For example, this may include but is not limited to smoking, pets, parties or other resort guidelines.
- If you opt to decline this optional coverage, a $150 preauthorization to a credit card will be required at check in to cover potential damage.

Last year, I survived a stroke with major complications. Getting to the beach was something I really needed. When I checked in, I found out that our room had been upgraded! The front desk person made everything so simple, and we appreciated it. I've stayed at this hotel 9-10 times, and never have I had any problems. I needed this trip so badly, and the treatment we received made this trip that much more special. Thank you for an excellent experience! I'll definitely be back.

This was our first time visiting Myrtle Beach. I'm glad we booked Captains Quarters. There was so much to do, we never got bored. The pools and amenities were great! My daughter had her hair braided, her face painted and received many glitter tattoos lol! The fire show was great and the DJ at the pool played great music! Oh and we can't forget the Arcade and bowling. The hotel staff was amazing. Can't wait to come back!!!

We will be staying here again. If you have children it's a perfect place. The staff were friendly. We sat on our deck and drank our coffee every morning and we seen first hand how they sanitized the pools and chairs. We were there with other groups of family and we can't wait to go back

Our stay was just so wonderful. We loved how nice the staff was with us, especially one of the security guards who's name was Erica. She watched our boys in the pools as if they were here and communicated with everyone wether in or out the pool. Not to mention housekeeping staff as well, they were very polite and understanding. We stay at the captains quarters at least once and sometimes twice a year. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. The pools are clean and security keeps the kids the parents don't control under control so our kids can enjoy themselves too. We really loved the room we had this time on the 15th floor and hope when we return in August we can be on an upper floor again. I've been staying at Captains Quarters for years. I will not book anywhere other than here! I love the bowling alley, and the breakfast buffet is always delicious. I stayed 3 nights, and each day when I got back to my room, my bed was made. Haven't had that any where else! Thank you

Every employee I encountered during my stay went beyond my expectations! From the front desk to bowling, arcade, bar and the restaurant. I wish I could remember their names. What a great staff! My fiance and I work in hospitality as well as live right here in Myrtle Beach. So it's great to see other properties on the beach uphold high standards.

We loved everything !!! It was off season the resort was empty so it was like we had our own private resort. The staff was soooooo nice, a smile and a hello always. My teenage children had a ball.

The lady that checked us in was amazing! She was super friendly and very helpful. Customer service is a lost art these days but this woman was fabulous. She even chatted with us and let us know all sorts of useful information. She should get employee of the month. The afternoon/evening manager was also amazing. When we decided to extend our stay he was very helpful and kind. He deserves an award too. It truly was nice meeting and interacting with both of them.
