Property AmenitiesSanta Maria – The Santa Maria Restaurant, a top rated restaurant, has long been a favorite for offering the finest Southern style breakfast buffet that you can find. Featuring our famous made to order omelet and Belgian Waffle station plus all the regulars, the breakfast buffet is always a hit. The seasonal dinner menu is also a real favorite. Santa Maria is located street side in the main hotel.
Marco Polo (seasonal) – Stop by the Marco Polo Pool Bar and Grill for a cool beverage on a hot beach day, or grab a delicious and convenient bite to eat so you can get back to soaking up the rays. The Marco Polo pool bar offers daiquiris, smoothies (with or without alcohol), beer and other adult and non alcoholic beverages. The Marco Polo Grill serves delicious burgers, grilled chicken, and hot dogs. Both are conveniently located between the block long poolscape and the ocean. The Marco Polo Bar operates on a seasonal schedule (weather permitting) and the Grill is open during our warm summer months.

The Caravelle Resort is located centrally in Myrtle Beach among the hottest attractions, shopping, golf and shows in the area. With Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing and Tanger Outlet Centers just minutes away by car in either direction all of the great shopping, dining and entertainment offered at these great attractions is close by. Our knowledgeable golf staff can help you book a round of golf at any of the over 100 golf courses along the Grand Strand, including the famed Dunes Golf and Beach Club, which is ranked annually among the top 50 courses in the United States. Policies
Check in time is 4 pm or later. Check out time is before 11 am. The credit card used for the deposit must be presented at check-in, with matching photo ID. At least one adult of 21 years of age must be in the room at all times for all buildings except for Sea Mark Tower & Carolina Dunes. Check-in age for Carolina Dunes and Sea Mark Tower is 25. Pets are not allowed. A fine of $500 will be assessed if a pet is brought into a unit. Service animals are not considered pets when required to perform a specific duty for the owner, and must be registered at the front desk at check-in. Emotional support animals however are considered pets and are not allowed at any time. An additional $10 per person, per night may be added for adults ages 17 or older; kids 16 or younger stay free within maximum occupancy. Pack-in-plays are available on a first come, first serve basis at check in. A $200 credit card pre-authorization ($250 for Sea Mark Tower) is required at check-in as a security deposit. Pre-Authorization, less any charges, released upon check out. Availability of funds may vary based upon your financial institution and account type and may take 10+ days.
A $10/night per vehicle registration fee will be charged at check-in. Limit 2 vehicles registered per unit. Parking is available at each building and additional covered parking is located beside the registration building. Motorcycles are restricted to certain areas, please notify on arrival to receive proper parking instructions. Trailer parking is not available.
All special requests are subject to availability upon check in. The first nights room and tax as well as any additional services for the first night of your stay will be charged to your credit card to guarantee your reservation. Total includes room, resort, booking, destination marketing fees, and taxes as well as any purchased additional services. Taxes and fees subject to change.
Your remaining balance is due upon check in** and can be paid via major credit card* or debit card. Credit or debit cards must have a VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express logo and must be imprinted with the cardholder’s name; matching photo ID must also be presented. We are unable to accept checks, money orders, cash, pre-paid cards, gift cards or foreign currencies. *A 2.5% convenience fee will be added at check in for credit card payments, however this fee is waived for debit card payments. **Some packages/special offers may have different deposit/payment requirements. Add Caravelle's Vacation Interruption Protection (VIP) Plan to your reservation in order to protect your vacation investment (call for pricing details!). The VIP Plan can be purchased at the time of booking or within 24 hours of booking, and will offer you the following great benefits to give you complete peace of mind before and during your hard earned vacation:
-Cancel any time before 4 PM on your check in day and your deposit will be refunded in full
-Make changes to your reservation as you need*
-In the unfortunate event that your stay is cut short, you will receive a refund for the remaining portion of your stay*
By declining the VIP Plan, you understand that the following will apply to your reservation:
-The reservation deposit is non-refundable
-Any changes made to the reservation, prior to arrival, will incur a $20 fee per change; changes include, but are not limited to date changes and room type changes*
-No refund for early departures
*Any changes will require your booking to be re-calculated based on the current best available rate and the new actual length of stay. Early departures require checkout by 11:00am.
