Myrtle Beach Mud Run

The Myrtle Beach Mud Run and the Y Mini Mud Run is an off-road cross country running race with obstacles and lots of mud in one of the only undeveloped areas in Myrtle Beach benefitting the Grand Strand Humane Society. This is the championship event of the entire series, so come on out to see who will claim the title of the Myrtle Beach Race Series Champion!

The Grand Strand Humane Society takes in animals brought in by the City of Myrtle Beach Animal Control as well as those brought into the shelter by members of the community. They are committed to the care and humane treatment of all homeless and abandoned animals.

Mud Run Race:
Date: Saturday, May 12, 2012
Start Time (Mini-Mud Run): 7:00am
Start Time (Mud Run): 7:30am (first wave)

Location:
Start / Finish: Grande Dunes Marina (vic Marina Inn)

Finish Area:
At the Finish, DO NOT STOP, walk promptly through the finish area. For the safety of all, and fairness to those finishing behind you, please move swiftly through the chute and over to the refreshment area.

Refreshments:
Typical runner fare will be available for participants.

T-Shirts:
All participants in the mud run race will receive a race t-shirt while supplies last. All pre-registered participants are guaranteed to receive a t-shirt.

Awards:
All participants in the mud run race and mini mud run race will receive a finishers medal for their participation in the race. The 1st place finishers in all individual and team mud run categories will receive a trophy.

Showers:
A shower station will be provided on-site for your convenience, but please bring your own towel. Parents we ask that you escort your kids to the shower area to help them clean off.

Team (2 members): $85 ($95 race day)
Individual: $45 ($50 race day)

Individual: $10 ($10 race day)
