A Bird for the Kids: Meet Tiki Bird
Captain Sneaky & Tiki Bird are among our favorite summer visitors. Tiki Bird is a seven-year-old Greenwinged Macaw native to South America. He was born in Florida and then moved to Richmond, Virginia, where his Dad (Captain Sneaky) adopted him.
Tiki Bird just loves going to the beach and visiting Captain’s Quarters and the Landmark! He is often seen hanging out on Captain Sneaky’s arm poolside where he likes meet new friends and get back rubs. Tiki will even pose for a picture with you so you can take home the memory of meeting Tiki Bird! Tiki enjoys doing tricks for guests including hanging upside down and giving Captain Sneaky high-fives. When asked to speak, Tiki will speak sometimes, but other times he likes to just sit, listen and observe! Who knows what he will say after you leave!
Tiki loves the movie “Rio” and his favorite foods are chicken wings, pizza, pecans, Brazil nuts and most fruits. Tiki even has his own Facebook page where he posts pictures, videos and updates. Now that’s one smart bird!
