Where to Get the Best Tacos in Myrtle Beach

By Julia Diem

There is no denying that Myrtle Beach has some of the best food places on the East Coast. From fine dining and buffets to delicious brunch options, we have a little bit of everything. But sometimes those great foods taste even better with a splash of Mexican seasoning and wrapped in a taco shell.

After all, who doesn’t love a taco and a side of guac?

If your mouth is watering just like mine is simply thinking about a plate of tacos, we’ve got you covered here. These are the best tacos in Myrtle Beach that’ll keep you and your taste buds happy.

Nacho Hippo

  • Address: 1160 Farrow Pkwy, Myrtle Beach
  • Price Point: $$
  • Must-Try Taco: Baja Grilled Fish Taco or Gringo Taco

Offering a variety of specialty tacos, Nacho Hippo in Market Common has a taco for everyone. Here you can enjoy spins on classic tacos that you won’t see on menus anywhere else.

If not everyone in your group is as excited as you are about getting your fill of tacos, Nacho Hippo is well-known for their nachos (as their name insists) so you won’t go wrong with a heaping plate of chips and toppings.

The portion sizes are generous here so it’s best to come hungry but do know that they don’t take reservations so if you come for dinner with a large group, you might have to wait for a table. They do offer inside and outdoor seating though so on a nice evening, the wait moves quickly.
