Myrtle Beach on a Budget: Broadway at the Beach

The key to doing anything on a budget is planning and taking advantage of every discount possible. That is one of the great benefits of staying at a Vacation Myrtle Beach Resort; you get tons of discounts through the VMB card.

One of the best places to use your VMB card is Broadway at the Beach. Broadway at the Beach features attractions, dining, shopping and night life all in one location. How convenient is that?

What you do while you are at Broadway is somewhat defined by who is with you. Is it your entire family or just you and your husband or significant other? Are your kids all young, all older, or a little of both? Either way you will most definitely find something to do.

Some highlights from the VMB Card are:

Encounters: A UFO Experience, all tickets are $10, which is a four dollar savings for adults and a two dollar savings for kids.

Dragons Lair mini golf combines golf with medieval theatrics and there are even shooting flames that roar out of a dragon’s mouth! Take $1 off adult admission or take $3 off all day play before 6 p.m.

While you are at Broadway you will certainly get hungry and be enticed by all the delicious smells wafting from various restaurants. The VMB card has you covered across the board!

Carlos’n Charlie’s is a great place to stop, get a free appetizer with entrée purchase! Limit one per table of four. Carlos’n Charlie’s features food with a Mexican flare and ask your server about their famous and huge margaritas!

After a satisfying dinner stop by Ben and Jerry’s and treat yourself and your family to one of their famous creations. Take 10% off your order when you used the VMB card.

Now that you have had dinner and dessert head to Senor Frogs and kick your night off with the liveliest fiesta around. With your VMB card you won’t be charged cover if you are 21 and up, if you are under 21 you get $5 off of the cover charge and can rock all night long.

Another great tip is to hit the local restaurants and bars between the hours of 4 p.m. and 7p.m. for happy hour. Most Broadway restaurants and bars have a happy hour and some even feature specials on their food, such as Liberty Steakhouse and Brewery and Chuck and Ducks Sports Grill.
