Military Discount in Myrtle Beach

With Memorial Day fast approaching,  several oceanfront Myrtle Beach resorts are preparing to offer a discount this Memorial Day for stays that are booked on May 29, 2017, by military members.

“We want to thank those who are serving our country or who have served in the past by offering them an extra discount,” said Matt Klugman of Vacation Myrtle Beach. “They deserve to be able to take a fun, budget-friendly vacation with their family.”

For vacations booked under this deal on May 29, 2017, military members will receive a 10% discount off the participating resorts’ best available rates, including most summer stay dates, with total savings of up to 48% off.

The discount is available for active-duty military, current Guard/Reserves, veterans, retired service members as well as current and retired military spouses.

“Our military members offer such a great sacrifice for our country,” Klugman said. “We want to give back to them by ensuring that they have a relaxing and fun vacation with their family. Whether it’s a mother whose husband is deployed looking for a getaway with her children or a retired military couple who want to vacation with their grandkids, we hope they take advantage of this special.”

Myrtle Beach is located just a short drive from various military bases including Fort Bragg (2.5 hours), Shaw Air Force Base (2.25 hours), Fort Jackson Army Base (2.75 hours) and Beaufort Marine Corps Base (3.25 hours).

Vacation Myrtle Beach also offers a first responders coupon for police officers, firefighters, emergency medical technicians and 911 dispatchers which can be found here.
