Supporting Flood Victims with Lowcountry Food Bank

Help us support flood victims in South Carolina. The Vacation Myrtle Beach resorts are proud to support our community by partnering with the Lowcountry Food Bank. Many South Carolina residents were recently impacted by unprecedented amounts of rain that caused damage to homes and businesses. We live and work in this area, and we care deeply for the welfare of our neighbors.

We are asking our community and anyone concerned for our community to donate nonperishable food items such as rice, peanut butter, bottled water, and canned fruit or vegetables. Other important donations would be diapers, soap, and cleaning supplies. Bleach is very helpful for water damage. Resort employees are also being encouraged to bring in items for collection at the resorts and administrative offices.

Money donations are also very helpful – every $1 donated to the Lowcountry Food Bank provides food for 6 meals for hungry families, children, and seniors, including those affected by the floods.

Donating toward this relief effort is easy! Resort guests can choose to donate when booking their reservation, while checking in at the front desk, or over the phone. Donated items can also be dropped off at the front desk of any VMB resort.
