Top Five Attractions For Myrtle Beach Golfers

By Vacation Myrtle Beach

Myrtle Beach has grown a lot over the past 20 years to the point where golf vacations no longer have to be just about golf.  You can enjoy your time on the course then enjoy your time off the course as well.

Below, we’ve listed out our top five attractions for Myrtle Beach golfers.  If we left something out then feel free to leave us a comment below with your suggestion.

Myrtle Beach Pelicans

Although seasonal, taking in a Myrtle Beach Pelicans game is a lot of fun for your entire group.  The Pelicans are a single-A baseball team that resides next to Broadway at the Beach and are currently a part of the Texas Rangers organization.  On Thursday nights throughout the season, the team will often run “Thirsty Thursday” specials with cheap drinks and cheap food, making this one of the more fun nights to head out to the ballpark.

Comedy Cabana

The comedy scene in Myrtle Beach is continuously growing and part of that reason is the long-running success of the Comedy Cabana off Highway 17.  Often times in the summer, you’ll see well-renowned stand-up comics coming from around the country to perform here.  It’s a great place for you and your buddies to relax after a round of golf.

NASCAR SpeedPark

For the competitive types, NASCAR SpeedPark is not only fun for kids but for adults as well.  Most tracks is open to adults but several are adult only so it caters to those who are willing to drive the fastest go-karts that NASCAR SpeedPark has to offer.  Conveniently located off 17-Bypass, NASCAR SpeedPark is a great way to have some fun on your next Myrtle Beach golf vacation.

The Palace Theatre

The Four Seasons were an immensely popular band in the 1960’s and the Palace Theatre has found a way to bring that music back to life here in Myrtle Beach with their Hot Jersey Night’s show that runs throughout the spring, summer, and fall.  Also during the in-season, the Palace Theatre will host “Illusions of Magic,” a very popular magic show brought to Myrtle Beach from Las Vegas.  No matter which one your golf group chooses to attend, the Palace Theatre is home to some of the best live entertainment shows in Myrtle Beach.

The Beach

The main attraction for everyone who travels to Myrtle Beach is the 60 miles of beautiful coastline that makes that area of the country so gorgeous.  Bring a beach chair and just listen to the waves crash on the beach or during the offseason, take a long stroll down the beach at sunset.  The combination of pristine golf courses and beautiful coastline will have you returning for years to come.
