Dining:
Santa Maria – The Santa Maria Restaurant, a top rated restaurant, has long been a favorite for offering the finest Southern style breakfast buffet that you can find. Featuring our famous made to order omelet and Belgian Waffle station plus all the regulars, the breakfast buffet is always a hit. The seasonal dinner menu is also a real favorite. Santa Maria is located street side in the main hotel.
Marco Polo (seasonal) – Stop by the Marco Polo Pool Bar and Grill for a cool beverage on a hot beach day, or grab a delicious and convenient bite to eat so you can get back to soaking up the rays. The Marco Polo pool bar offers daiquiris, smoothies (with or without alcohol), beer and other adult and non alcoholic beverages. The Marco Polo Grill serves delicious burgers, grilled chicken, and hot dogs. Both are conveniently located between the block long poolscape and the ocean. The Marco Polo Bar operates on a seasonal schedule (weather permitting) and the Grill is open during our warm summer months.
Recreation:
The Caravelle Resort is located centrally in Myrtle Beach among the hottest attractions, shopping, golf and shows in the area. With Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing and Tanger Outlet Centers just minutes away by car in either direction all of the great shopping, dining and entertainment offered at these great attractions is close by. Our knowledgeable golf staff can help you book a round of golf at any of the over 100 golf courses along the Grand Strand, including the famed Dunes Golf and Beach Club, which is ranked annually among the top 50 courses in the United States. The Caravelle Resort concierge will help you plan your day or evening in Myrtle Beach, SC and offers discount tickets to virtually all of Myrtle Beach’s top attractions and theaters.

Policies:
Check in time is 4 pm or later. Check out time is before 11 am. The credit card used for the deposit must be presented at check-in, with matching photo ID. At least one adult of 21 years of age must be in the room at all times for all buildings except for Sea Mark Tower & Carolina Dunes. Check-in age for Carolina Dunes and Sea Mark Tower is 25. Pets are not allowed. A fine of $500 will be assessed if a pet is brought into a unit. Service animals are not considered pets when required to perform a specific duty for the owner, and must be registered at the front desk at check-in. Emotional support animals however are considered pets and are not allowed at any time. An additional $10 per person, per night may be added for adults ages 17 or older; kids 16 or younger stay free within maximum occupancy. Pack-in-plays are available on a first come, first serve basis at check in. A $200 credit card pre-authorization ($250 for Sea Mark Tower) is required at check-in as a security deposit. Pre-Authorization, less any charges, released upon check out. Availability of funds may vary based upon your financial institution and account type and may take 10+ days.
A $10/night per vehicle registration fee will be charged at check-in. Limit 2 vehicles registered per unit. Parking is available at each building and additional covered parking is located beside the registration building. Motorcycles are restricted to certain areas, please notify on arrival to receive proper parking instructions. Trailer parking is not available.
All special requests are subject to availability upon check in. The first nights room and tax as well as any additional services for the first night of your stay will be charged to your credit card to guarantee your reservation. Total includes room, resort, booking, destination marketing fees, and taxes as well as any purchased additional services. Taxes and fees subject to change.
Your remaining balance is due upon check in** and can be paid via major credit card* or debit card. Credit or debit cards must have a VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express logo and must be imprinted with the cardholder’s name; matching photo ID must also be presented. We are unable to accept checks, money orders, cash, pre-paid cards, gift cards or foreign currencies. *A 2.5% convenience fee will be added at check in for credit card payments, however this fee is waived for debit card payments. **Some packages/special offers may have different deposit/payment requirements. Caravelle Resort Vacation Interruption Protection (VIP) Plan
Add Caravelle's Vacation Interruption Protection (VIP) Plan to your reservation in order to protect your vacation investment (call for pricing details!). The VIP Plan can be purchased at the time of booking or within 24 hours of booking, and will offer you the following great benefits to give you complete peace of mind before and during your hard earned vacation:
-Cancel any time before 4 PM on your check in day and your deposit will be refunded in full
-Make changes to your reservation as you need*
-In the unfortunate event that your stay is cut short, you will receive a refund for the remaining portion of your stay*
By declining the VIP Plan, you understand that the following will apply to your reservation:
-The reservation deposit is non-refundable
-Any changes made to the reservation, prior to arrival, will incur a $20 fee per change; changes include, but are not limited to date changes and room type changes*
-No refund for early departures
*Any changes will require your booking to be re-calculated based on the current best available rate and the new actual length of stay. Early departures require checkout by 11:00am.
VIP Plan is not valid with winter rental snowbird reservations, third-party reservations, or Advanced Purchase reservations. Other exclusions may apply.
Accidental Damage Protection
- The Accidental Damage Protection Plan is an optional fee that is $39.99.
- This plan provides coverage for up to $1,000 of accidental damage.
- This may include but is not limited to; furniture damage, scratches, scuffs or spills on carpet, bedspreads, broken lamp or scratches or scuffs to walls.
- This fee is non-refundable and is added to your balance.
- Any damage claim must be reported to the resort prior to check-out.
- The Accidental Damage Protection Plan does not cover intentional or malicious damage due to abuse or damage incurred while violating resort guidelines. For example, this may include but is not limited to smoking, pets, parties or other resort guidelines.
- If you opt to decline this optional coverage, a $200 preauthorization to a credit card ($250 for Sea Mark Tower reservations) will be required at check in to cover potential damage.

We stayed here many years ago and this was a return visit-we could not have been more pleased with our choice. Very nice staff and they took good care of us while we were there. Despite of the negative reviews, we chanced our stay at the St. Clements Tower. Check in was quick and expedited. Our King Suite was more than what was expected. Very clean and had an additional bedroom. I would definitely come back to room 509.

This was my first visit to Caravelle, although I visit Myrtle Beach 2-4 times a year. St John's was a great first impression. Everything was clean, quiet and pleasant. We stayed in one of Carolina Dunes two bedroom condo and we loved it! It was plenty of space everyone. Master bedroom has a king and second bedroom has two full beds. Also, the living room has a sofa bed, as well. The kitchen was a big plus, too. We loved drinking our coffee in the morning and enjoy the beautiful view of the ocean, Carolina Dunes being a oceanfront building.

IT WAS AWESOME! WE ENJOYED OUR ROOM! EVERYTHING WAS CLEAN AND MR. SAM IN MAINTENANCE WAS VERY NICE TO US AS WE WERE LEAVING. HE HELD THE DOOR OPEN FOR US AND TALKED TO US AND MADE SURE WE WERE OKAY! THE HOUSEKEEPER THAT MORNING WAS NICE AND POLITE IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE! WE WILL RETURN SOON!

Front desk was courteous. Housekeeping staff need to work on friendliness. Were not pleasant. And Knocked on our doors at 9am every morning; like a wake up call you never asked for on vacation. No towels EVER at pool areas. When i called for towels, i was told there was no one available to bring towels. If there are going to be no towels, the least they can do is put extra in your room & also tell u upon checking in. Especially if u r in another building. Door in room needs to be replaced. Sounded like a very loud tea kettle AT ALL TIMES OF DAY AND NIGHT from the wind coming in thru the large spaces & broken door. Locks did not work. No restful sleep could be had here. Ocean view saved this trip.

I have been to Myrtle Beach tons and by far this was my favorite. The room we had was amazing. We will definitely be back. The location was perfect. The ameneties were amazing. The room view was perfect.

This was the perfect spot for our time in town this weekend. The fridge and kitchen area met our needs too. Easy access out to the beach and a gorgeous sunrise to meet us Saturday morning.

It was wonderful!! Very close to the beach, the rooms were clean, and housecleaning staff was helpful. Cedric was very friendly and helpful and he even asked if we needed anything as we passed him. Miss Judy is a great chef, and makes AWSOME Omlets, and Miss Jerri knew what we like to drink with our meals without asking. We will be back again!!!
