MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR (PM SHIFT)

Landmark Resort is looking for a Maintenance Tech Supervisor for 2nd shift.  This is a full-time, year round position.  Interested applicant must have maintenance experience along with supervisor experience.  Benefits package includes: Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability, Critical Illness, ect., PTO and Floating Holiday time.  Interested applicants may apply in person at Landmark Resort, located at 1501 S. QUALIFICATIONS

Read, write and understand English.
Experience of 2-5 years preferred in commercial or institutional maintenance environment.
HVAC or plumbing or electrical skills.
Light carpentry and knowledge of paint and wallpaper.
Certification in pool operation preferred.
Meet minimum age requirements of jurisdiction.
Ability to communicate effectively with public and other employees.
Valid driver’s license preferred.
Preventive maintenance background preferred.

SAFETY AND SECURITY: Be alert to hazards and responsible in carrying out resort’s safety, security, and emergency procedures; suggest ways to improve safety conditions that reduce or prevent accidents and injuries; participate on safety committee or other special projects for safety; actively seek and report potential security risks or hazardous conditions.

MAINTENANCE: Perform general repairs and assigned maintenance duties in a satisfactory and timely manner; respond to complaints or problems from guests or other departments in a timely manner; keep tools and maintenance equipment clean and secure; complete preventive maintenance duties on schedule.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Adhere to all work order policies and procedures.
Communicate parts and materials needs to supervisor in a timely manner.
Inform supervisor on job and project status.
Keep adequate parts, materials and supplies on supply cart.
Maintain and repair all equipment in laundry, kitchen, guestrooms, convention areas and public space. Repair refrigeration, plumbing and electrical fixtures in guestrooms, kitchen or laundry to manufacturer’s specifications.
Maintain work areas clean and organized.
Monitor life safety systems and respond to alerts as necessary.
Maintain and repair carpet, wall covering, furniture, painted surfaces, change burned out light bulbs and other cosmetic repairs in guest rooms, tower, convention area, public areas and as assigned, preventive maintenance.
Report all unsafe conditions immediately.
Clean and treat all food and beverage floor drains with enzymes weekly.
Complete other duties assigned by supervisor to include cross training.
Maintain chemical levels in automatic mechanical systems.
Maintain electrical carts.
Repair irrigation or sprinkler systems.
Attend all mandatory meetings.
Fill key list orders.
Remove and install water heaters.

FRONT DESK SUPERVISOR

Landmark Resort is seeking a FULL-TIME experienced Guest Services Supervisor.  This individual must have previous front desk supervisor experience.  IqWare experience preferred.  Benefits package includes: Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability, Critical Illness and Life Insurance along with PTO and Floating Holidays. 

Duties to include:

Answer guest questions and offer information and assistance
Answer telephones
Check guests in and out
Communicate with other departments to fulfill guest needs
Maintain work area neat and organized
Monitor reservations made and house count
Monitor status of guest accounts
Report all unsafe conditions immediately
Update information in the computer systems as needed (i.e., post charges)
Act as Manager-On-Duty when assigned
Answer all complaints and concerns that occur during shifts.  If unable to handle, contact department manager or MOD
Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor to include cross training
Verify all shift work and deposits
Assist in the training and development of new Front Desk Clerks
Follow checklist for required duties and timelines
Read, pass on log and communicate with previous shift
Run reports and complete them


We are looking for an outgoing, upbeat personality, who has the gift of gab, is quick with a smile and genuinely loves working with the public. The candidate must thrive on being helpful, empathetic and courteous throughout the positive and not so positive experiences a guest may encounter or bring with them upon arrival. Experience in hotel reservations is a must, IQware software experience preferred, but not required. *All golf contracts and/or convention golf contracts and implementation and monitoring of all follow up procedures to ensure proper communication with customer; monitor proper timing, amount and receipt of all deposits and/or advance payment of all packages booked including convention golf.

*Complete monthly report of all current and future year backlog bookings by the 5th of each month to the General Manager.

*Keep proper communications to all golf courses regarding tee times and guarantee number of golfers.

*Proper coordination and distribution of golf package tickets, food tickets and amenities package.

*Monitor aging for credits, deposits, overpayments, high balance accounts, and delinquent accounts.

*Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.

LAUNDRY ATTENDANT

The Landmark Resort is looking to fill several Laundry Attendant positions. Must be available to work 5 days including weekends. This position is for 2nd shift.  This is a seasonal position that has the possibility to become permanent. Job Duties

Maintain work area neat and organized.
Know and perform all stages of linen processing (i.e., sorting and weighing soiled linen; sort clean linen; run clean laundry through proper machinery).
