Leading a team that is comprised of property HR Managers and HR Assistants, the Director of HR will provide consistent and effective strategically based recommendations, especially in the realm of talent acquisition, which will always be the primary focus.  The Director of HR also plays a key role in developing HR professionals on staff, being accessible to resort staff employees, partnering with General Managers.

Continuously monitor staffing levels at all resorts, and work with the resorts to ensure that there is the appropriate level of existing staff.  Work with contract labor staffing as needed to maintain high caliber employee, through meeting, monitoring, and arranging with the contract labor vendors.

Innovate and challenge established methods to secure continuous improvement to keep the resorts at the cutting edge of local HR policies and procedures. Implement change in the shortest possible timeframe.

Enable the effective development of accurate, effective, and timely personnel information

and payroll systems streamlining the processes. Ensure the development of fully maximizing the capacity of Kronos to the fullest capacity

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years human resources experience, with at least 3 of those in a director role.
  • Generalist experience that heavily focuses on strategy in talent acquisition, organizational development, and performance management, among other areas.
  • Experience in hospitality preferred.
  • Engaging personality with the ability to be unbiased and consistent at all times.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Solid leadership skills: an ability to foster a culture that is built on trust, integrity and a “work hard, play hard” mentality.
  • Ability to succeed with managing priorities and being organized, with attention to detail as a strength. 
  • Exposure and understanding of the H2B process and the J-1 process, both equipped to facilitate partnerships with international workers.
  • Leading the annual Vacation Myrtle Beach H2B process.
  • Experience in managing a large staff preferred.  
  • College degree is preferred but not essential.
  • Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)
  • Proficiency with Word and Excel; Kronos experience preferred.

Essential Functions:

  • ·    Oversee HR Generalists to ensure the departments are running smoothly at each resort.
  • ·    Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics, which inspire employees to meet and exceed standards.
  • ·    Develop and administer Company and property benefits programs.
  • ·    Direct all recruiting and employment efforts. Manage all resorts new employee orientation programs.
  • ·    Promote employee empowerment.
  • ·    Interacts regularly with all levels of managers and staff to establish an understanding of their roles and responsibilities, to determine their HR support needs, and to communicate HR’s services
  • ·    Advises on work performance matters, including problem resolution, progressive discipline and annual performance appraisals and career development opportunities to assist with retention, and organizational design
  • ·    Complete orientation and training activities.
  • ·    Oversee HR Generalists in management of benefits-related matters. Oversee maintenance of relationship with carriers, enrollment, and monthly bills
  • ·    Advise the COO & CFO and HR Generalists on policies, procedures and management issues related to the areas of responsibility of the position.
  • ·   Coordinate management development programs.
  • ·   Design, develop, recommend, and implement strategies to support, improve and strengthen the Human Resources Department and services in all resorts
  • ·    Facilitate the resolution of employee relation’s issues.
  • ·    Complete monthly turnover, absenteeism, and manpower reports.
  •     Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • ·    Conduct management training programs.
  • ·    Create and implement training to address property needs.
  • ·    Develop employee recognition, incentive, and other workforce campaigns.

Vacation Rental General Manager

Essential Functions

 

  • Grow vacation rental company portfolio by adding units to the rental program and maintain relationships with homeowners on the rental program
  • Set the standard for guest satisfaction and ensure that our guests get the “Most exciting, fun-filled, and enjoyable vacation experience ever”
  • Lead day to day operations of the rental program in areas including but not limited to:
  1. Working with corporate marketing and revenue departments to optimize occupancy and overall revenue
  2. Lead housekeeping and maintenance teams in order to maintain our homeowners’ investment
  3. Ensure that all check-in and payment processes are fluid to create a smooth guest experience
  4. Ensure that the guest experience is outstanding from the time of reservation all the way through check-out
  • Work with the marketing and reservations department to maintain property listings and inventory
  • Manage and analyze financials to deliver maximum net operating income while maintaining a high brand standard
  • Possess an ability and desire to set short- and long-term goals for all areas of the companyGrow organizational structure to build and develop team as the company continues to grow

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
  • Five years of vacation rental leadership experience
  • Property management license preferred, but not required
  • Real estate background is a plus but not required
  • Sales knowledge, skills, and abilities to present our competitive rental program to owners is a necessity
  • Customer service and conflict resolutions skills to overcome objections and resolve issues.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions
  • Ability to multi-task and attention to detail and prioritize

You’ve got a knack for connecting with an audience while maintaining brand voice and standards. You’re an editor at heart, but can shoot with the best of them when needed.

  • Editing & Post Production
  • Edit videos. Design and animate motion graphics for videos. Execute final production for publishing on digital platforms. Utilize platform features including Closed-Captioning, creating enticing thumbnails, as well as writing SEO-driven video descriptions and titles.
  • Shooting
  • Plan, set up, and execute studio and location shoots, including shooting, lighting, and audio.
  • Preproduction

Responsibilities

Qualifications
• 2 years of editing experience, with some shooting experience
• Strong storytelling skills, with experience producing creative briefs and storyboards
• Complete mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro, and/or After Effects, with working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
• Sound mixing experience using Audition or similar

Complete work orders on time and within budget. Justify request for capital projects using ROI and/or the needs of the business as impacted by the department. Maintain cost-effective preventative maintenance program. Maintain accurate filed for all inspections, licenses and contracts. Manage security procedures and proper key control.

The Vacation Myrtle Beach resort group is seeking an individual for the entry level position of Revenue Coordinator to join our growing company. The revenue coordinator will work with the revenue team to build and maintain all rates and packages for 14 oceanfront properties. This position will provide input on rates and hotel sales strategy and assist in revenue and occupancy analysis, in order to optimize and maximize its revenues.

Core Job Responsibilities & Duties
• Assist in executing revenue management and distribution strategy of the hotel and manage day to day yield operations.
• Daily pick-up analysis, strategy adjustments and reporting
• Assist in ensuring all related systems are configured correctly, validated, and working to full capacity.
• Build and maintain rate codes, packages, nightly minimums and quotas within the PMS.
