Accommodations Spotlight: Efficiencies

An efficiency unit at a Myrtle Beach resort or hotel may be the perfect accommodation for you!

Generally, efficiencies usually have a kitchen, but it is more limited than a full kitchen. For example, these kitchens may have a mini-fridge rather than a full-sized fridge or they may have a cooktop rather than a full oven and stove. Be sure to check with your resort to be sure you know what your efficiency includes.

Additionally, efficiencies generally have one or two beds and a bathroom. They are perfect for small families or couples.

Check out these efficiencies for your next Myrtle Beach vacation:

Crown Reef Resort: This all-oceanfront resort located on the south-end of Myrtle Beach is completely remodeling all of its rooms, including its King and Queen Efficiencies. These units can fit a family of four at the most. The King Efficiency contains a king bed, plus a sleeper sofa, while the Queen Efficiency contains two queen beds. Since all units are oceanfront, you are sure to have an excellent view of the ocean!

Captain’s Quarters Resort: Captain’s Quarters Resort, also a south-end Myrtle Beach property, has four types of efficiencies, based on where they are located at the resort. The efficiency options include: Oceanfront Efficiency (which directly faces the ocean), Poolside Efficiency (which is on the ground floor with direct access to the pool deck), Ocean View Efficiency (which is located on the side of the building) and the Interior Efficiency (which is a budget-friendly unit with balcony on the inside corridor of the hotel). Captain’s Quarters also offers two-room efficiencies with include: Ocean View Two Bedroom Efficiency, Ocean View Two Room King Efficiency and the Oceanfront Two Room Efficiency. hotel BLUE Resort: hotel BLUE has a few efficiency-style units. From the Poolside Efficiency, where you can have easy access to the partying pool-deck, to the Oceanfront Efficiency King and Oceanfront Efficiency where you can enjoy great views of the pool deck and ocean, hotel BLUE has something for everyone looking for a fun place to stay.

Landmark Resort: Landmark Resort has a variety of unit types to choose from including the Oceanfront Efficiency. This unit has a king bed plus a sleeper sofa and an efficiency-style kitchen which has a cooktop as well as a microwave. This efficiency is great because it is oceanfront and has a private balcony where you can enjoy your morning coffee and watch the sun rise.

The Caravelle Resort: The Caravelle Resort main building is located near the north end of Myrtle Beach, which offers easy access to both central Myrtle Beach and the city of North Myrtle Beach. This resort offers a variety of efficiency units include the Oceanfront Efficiency with two double beds, Ocean View Efficiency, also with two double beds, the Oceanfront Efficiency with a king bed and the Ocean View Efficiency with a king bed. Basically, you can choose between oceanfront and ocean view and between one bed or two and make the decision that works best for your family. A more economical option is also offered at this resort at one of their smaller buildings that is not oceanfront, called St. John’s Inn. This building has its own large pool plus guests can utilize the pools at the main building. Here you can choose from efficiencies with either two queen beds or one king bed. This resort has multiple options for your family.
