Bringing a crowd to the beach? No worries! Myrtle Beach offers plenty of things for large groups and families to do. Here are a few of our favorites:

 

WonderWorksWonderWorks Myrtle Beach

With over 100 unique interactive exhibits, it’s not hard to see why WonderWorks is the perfect Myrtle Beach attraction for large families and groups. Experience the winds of a category one storm at the Hurricane Shack or surround yourself with a giant bubble at the Bubble Lab. Other popular exhibits include the Virtual Sports setup, the Giant Piano, Mission to Mars, the Wonder Coasters, and the Tesla Coil – to name a few. WonderWorks is also home to two challenging ropes courses (one indoor and one outdoor), an outdoor zipline facility that takes guests whizzing over Lake Broadway, and even an on-site café, making it easy to stop and refuel. Myrtle Beach Pelicans Game

Nothing screams summer quite like a trip to a Myrtle Beach Pelicans game and this family favorite is perfect for large groups or families. This minor league affiliate of the Texas Rangers knows how to put on a show and with home games every week throughout the summer you really don’t have a reason NOT to check out this hometown team. The talented staff puts on games and contests in-between innings to keep you entertained and the venue hosts promotions throughout the week to help you save big. Popular promotions include $2sDay Brewsday, which offers $2 craft beer drafts from 6pm-8pm and Weiner Wednesdays, which provide $1 hotdogs all night long. The Pelicans also host other ongoing promotions like pre-game autographs, post-game base runs, and spectacular post-game fireworks shows. Pirates Voyage

Grab yer sword and prepare your crew for a swashbuckling good time at Pirates Voyage! This lively dinner and show is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat. Watch as the Sapphire and Crimson pirates battle on the deck of their full sized pirate ships, in the air, and in the water as they fight for the right to the hidden treasure. The show also includes appearances from friendly mermaids and live animals. Amazing acrobatic stunts, colorful costumes, and an original music score from Dolly Parton herself are just a few of the things that guests at this exciting attraction can look forward to. Myrtle Waves Water Park

As the state’s largest water park, it’s not hard to see why this wet n’ wild attraction is perfect for large groups and families. Thrill seekers will definitely want to check out some of the tempting water slides. Face darkness and mind-boggling heights at the Turbo Twisters, which stand just over 10-stories tall and hold the spot as the world’s tallest tube slides! Or, if you have the need for speed, check out the Riptide Rockets, which take guests racing down at speeds of over 40 miles per hour. Other, tamer rides include the Arooba Tooba, the Layzee River, the Ocean in Motion Wave Pool, the Saturation Station. Illusions of Magic at Palace Theatre

You won’t believe your eyes! The Illusions of Magic Show at the Palace Theatre has quickly become a favorite among visitors and locals alike. Peter Gossamer, the house magician, wows guests with an eclectic mix of classic tricks and mind-boggling stunts that will have you on the edge of your seat! He does everything from ripping apart and reconstructing a newspaper, a tried but true favorite, to making his attractive assistant disappear into this air! Other popular acts in this show include the tamer and his five 200 pound Bengal tigers, the human cannonball, and amazing crossbow feats from Ben Blaque from America’s Got Talent.
