Bacon and beats and brews - oh my! If you’re looking for the hottest new festival to hit Myrtle Beach this fall, be sure to pencil in the Bacon and Brews Fest: Saturday, September 22, 2018.

This one of a kind event is sure to leave an impression with tasty treats and plenty of fun for families.

The inaugural event will take place downtown at the old Pavilion Place, right along 9th Avenue North. The expansive seaside venue offers plenty of room for vendors, stunning views of the Atlantic, and easy access to the bustling boardwalk district.Beer and Bacon Fest

The star of the event, bacon, will be present in almost every dish available. Several local vendors, like Benito’s Rolling Oven and Jersey Dogs, have already accepted the tasty challenge to concoct unique bacon-inspired creations. Bacon mac-n-cheese, bacon wrapped hot dogs, candied bacon, bacon smothered cheese fries, bacon burgers, chocolate covered bacon - the options are endless! Come hungry, because you definitely won’t want to miss out on these tasty treats!

Of course, it wouldn’t be a ‘bacon and brews’ fest without the brews, and this festival has an impressive lineup of local and regional vendors in store. New South Brewing and Terrapin are already registered as beer vendors, with several more in the works. And, winos aren’t left in the dust either, as Duplin Winery, a popular local purveyor of tasty adult beverages, will be present with some of their favorite fruity concoctions.

The festival will also include a full lineup of live entertainment appropriate for guests of all ages. Shawn Bilton will kick off the event at 12:30 with his gritty, acoustic rock, followed by Adam Carter, a modern country artist, at 2:30. Finally, Gal Friday will bring down the house at 4:30 with an eclectic variety of southern gospel, rock, and bluegrass tunes. Each artist knows how to put on a show and will provide a great backdrop for the oceanfront family festival.

Craft beer sample tickets and food samples are purchased separately, and VIP tickets are available for guests looking for a bit of an upscale festival experience. The VIP ticket includes access to a tented reserved seating area, complimentary VIP food, a craft brew tasting wristband, private restrooms, and a private selection of specialty beverages.
