Mother’s Day and Myrtle Beach have more in common than M’s. They’re a perfect pair in a lot of ways.

There are tons of things to do in Myrtle Beach that moms of all sorts will like and making those plans for her will let her know that you love and appreciate all that she does.

Really, who doesn’t love brunch? But there is something about brunch and Mother’s Day that just go together really well. Some VMB resorts offer a super tasty breakfast that might be perfect for Mom, but if you’re looking to go outside of the resort there are lots of great options. Croissants, Chestnut Hill, the Crossroads at the House of Blues, Gordon Biersch, Gulf Stream Café or Nosh are just a few of the outstanding brunch places in Myrtle Beach.

Not to be stereotypical, but lots of moms do love shopping and taking her on a spree to buy the things she needs but would never spend the money on herself is a great treat, no matter what kind of shopping she’s into. Tanger Outlets has two locations in Myrtle Beach with stores that include Coach and Guess. And remember, it doesn’t have to be clothes you’re taking her to buy! Whatever your mom likes there is sure to be a store in Myrtle Beach that she can have a spree in. Is Mom a runner? Black Dog Running Company is a great local resource for running gear and shoes. Does she like to cook? The Olive Shoppe has a great selection of vinegars, hand stuffed olives, dips and spreads, cocktail mixes and more. Does she like spending time outside on the porch or the yard? Custom Outdoor Furniture has tons of chairs, tables and more that can make it possible for her to spend her time outside in complete comfort and style.  There are even some special offers by VMB Resorts like Hotel Blue and Captain’s Quarters that are specifically tailored to shopping trips and include a special coupon book for Tanger Outlets, as well as the VMB Card which gets you even more deals at area stores.

The Beach
The beach is a relaxing place for pretty much everyone and giving Mom a chance to spend time in the water, soaking up sun, searching for seashells or just listening to the sound of the waves crashing is sure to show her how much you appreciate all she does.

Salons and Spas
If she isn’t relaxed simply by being at the beach then adding a massage or a haircut or spa trip to her beach trip will certainly do the trick. If you’re staying at a Vacation Myrtle Beach resort then you get a discount at Freddie Rose Salon, Michael & Co. Salon (where she can get a new haircut and style), Massage Envy (where she can have all her stresses rubbed away), or the Strand College of Hair Design where she can get a her hair done, or get a manicure or pedicure, or all of the above.

Myrtle Beach is a great place for moms so make it the best Mother’s Day ever and book a trip here!
