There are low rates, less crowded beaches, pleasant weather, and plenty of fun things to do for the entire family. What: A 2-day gospel celebration live with Grammy and stellar award-winning artists as well as regional artists. Bring the entire family. Kids zone, food and crafts vendors will be on site.

5th Annual Downtown Pawleys Live

Date: September 3, 2023
Where: Behind the Island Shops Downtown Pawleys, 10659 Ocean Hwy, Pawleys Island
What: Music, art, and entertainment festival that features regional bands, food trucks, craft beers, sparkling wine, and artists. Bring your own chairs and relax with this end-of-summer celebration!
Time: 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. (gates open at 1:00 p.m.)
Cost: $15 General Admission

 

Music on Main Concert Series

Microphone concertDate: 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursdays in September
Where: Main Street, North Myrtle Beach
What: Experience many restaurants, shops, live music, and dance til’ you drop. Bring your beach chair to kick back and unwind.

I Love Seafood Fest

Date: September 9 - 10, 2023
Where: Burroughs and Chapin Pavilion Place, 812 N Ocean Blvd, Myrtle Beach
What: From the ocean to your plate! Enjoy award-winning music legends, cooking contests, and cooking demonstrations. Plenty of food and drink options for seafood lovers and land lovers alike.
Time: 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Cost: General Admission: $10 | VIP pass: $65 | Weekend Pass: $15.00 | VIP Elite: $92.50 for two-day weekend pass per person. 

 

South Carolina’s Largest Garage Sale 

Date: Saturday, September 9, 2023
Where: Myrtle Beach Convention Center, 2101 N Oak St, Myrtle Beach
What: Calling all local and visiting bargain hunters! South Carolina’s popular and largest garage sale features 400+ vendors with a wide variety of things for sale. Remember the early bird always gets the worm!
Time: 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Cost: Free admission, and $5 attendee parking per car

 

13th Anniversary Grand Strand Mustang Stampede 

Date: September 14, 2023
Where: Broadway at the Beach in front of Dave & Buster's
What: Coastal Carolina Mustang Club's annual car show.
Time: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Cost: $25 early pre-registration or $30 car registration at the gate

 

Society of Stranders Fall Shag Migration

Date: September 14 - 24, 2023
Where: North Myrtle Beach
What: 10 days of the biggest party for adults! Shag dancing celebrations, classes, entertainment and more. Special parties will be held at Fat Harold's Beach Club, Ducks Beach Club, the OD Arcade, and other various clubs during the 10-day celebration.

 

11th Annual Home Improvement and Outdoor Living Show

Date: September 15 - 17, 2023
Where: Myrtle Beach Convention Center, 2101 North Oak Street, Myrtle Beach
What: Expo featuring a variety of industry professionals for home improvement needs both indoor and outdoor, seminars, workshops, culinary demos, local artists, pets available for adoption and more!
Time: September 15 & 16 from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and 17th from 11:00 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Cost: $5 adult ticket, or $10 three-day pass, free for children under 16 

 

43rd Annual Aynor Harvest Hoe-Down Festival

Where: Aynor Town Park, 600 South Main Street, Aynor
What: Parade, live music, children’s entertainment, food vendors, arts and crafts, and more.
Time: Parade at 10:00 a.m. | 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. musical entertainment | Concert 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

SeptemberFest! At Barefoot Landing

Date: September 16, 2023
Where: Barefoot Landing, 4898 Hwy 17 S, North Myrtle Beach
What: Join us for live music from Austin Floyd and Alan Bibey Project and kids’ activities, plus, the Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach will be on hand for photo ops, raffles, auctions, and more! The Duplin Grape Stomp will also be taking place; tickets for this portion of the event can be purchased in advance.
Time: 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Cost: Free Admission, Grape Stomp is $35 per person and includes a bottle of wine, wine tumbler, and a special gift.

 

Conway Burger Week 

Dates: September 18 - September 24, 2023
Where: Downtown Conway
What: Bring your appetite and eat the best burgers in Downtown Conway! It’s a delicious opportunity for locals and visitors to sample restaurants in the area.

48th Annual Atalaya Arts and Crafts Festival

Date: September 22 - 24, 2023
Where: Huntington Beach State Park, 16148 Ocean Highway, Murrells Inlet
What: Featuring over 100 of the finest artisans, handmade artwork, local cuisine, and live music.
Cost: $10 per adult daily (age 16 and older) 

 

Beach ‘n Chili Fest and World Championship Chili Cook-off

Dates: September 29 - October 1, 2023
Where: Burroughs and Chapin Pavilion Place, 812 N Ocean Blvd, Myrtle Beach
What: Features over 500 flavors and award-winning chili tastings, live music, beer gardens, food trucks, craft and retail vendors, a kid’s zone, and more.
Time: All day, time varies.
Cost: Free admission; tasting and VIP lounge tickets are available. 

 

Vintage Market Days

Date: September 29 - October 1, 2023
Where: Myrtle Beach Sports Center
What: It’s a party! Upscale, vintage-inspired indoor/outdoor market featuring handmade treasures, home decor, jewelry, clothes, outdoor furnishings, plants, food, and more.
Time: Friday/Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

The Pink Ribbon Run

What: Offering a 10K, 5K and a 1 Mile plus the ability to run all 3 races for an additional challenge medal. Come Run/Walk with us and together let's make a difference in the fight against Breast Cancer. 100% of the fundraiser money will go to the two Breast Cancer non-profits.

20th Annual Fall Art Show  

Date: October 1 - 13th, 2023, reception and birthday party October 5th.
Where: Seacoast Artists Gallery in The Market Common
What: Seacoast Artists Guild is celebrating their 20th Annual Fall Art Show and Sale from October 1st through October 13th. Stop in and see the wide variety of incredible artwork pieces from their finest artists!

Where: Broadway at the Beach
What: Check out modern, classic, muscle, and vintage cars and browse various vendors.
Time: 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Saturday.

 

Surfside Beach Family Festival

Date: October 5, 2023
Where: Surfside Drive in Surfside Beach
What: This annual rain or shine event brings thousands of people together for festival food favorites, art and craft vendors, children’s activities, and live entertainment.
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Cost: Free Admission

 

23rd Annual Pawleys Island Wine & Food Gala

Date: October 5, 2023
Where: The Reserve Golf Club of Pawleys Island
What: Sample over 65 wines from renowned vineyards around the world, delicious hors d’oeuvres prepared by the area’s best chefs, dessert tastings, silent auction, complimentary wine glass, and more.
Time: 7:00 p.m.

3rd Annual OktoberFest Barefoot Landing

Date: October 7, 2023
Where: Barefoot Landing, North Myrtle Beach, SC
What: Come and enjoy this annual event featuring German and fall-inspired food and drink items. There will also be live music, contests, and other activities.

Myrtle Beach BritFest Car Show

What: Largest and one of the best regional British cars shows in the southeast! Featuring car show awards, raffles and gifts, best hat competition, English tea, food trucks, and more.

Annual Harvest Home Weekend Festival

Date: October 7 - 8, 2023
Where: Brookgreen Gardens, Murrells Inlet
What: A variety of family fun fall activities such as pumpkin decorating, scarecrow building, hay maze, entertainment by Greg Rowles, food vendors, and more.
Cost: Free with Garden admission; fees for certain activities.

 

Art in the Park

Date: October 7- 8, 2023
Where: Market Common's Valor Park
What: Hosting 50+ artists ranging from far across the country to local areas. Various art includes paintings, woodworking, photography, jewelry, fabric, glass, metal, pottery, and stone.

St. Andrew Catholic School’s Taste of the Town Fundraiser

Date: Tuesday, October 10, 2023
Where Myrtle Beach Convention Center
What: Tasty Tuesday! Enjoy samplings from a large variety of the Grand Strand’s finest restaurants, live music, and desserts.
Time: 4:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Cost: Entry is $8 at the door, FREE for ages 14 & under | Food Tickets: $1 each (menu items between 1 and 5 tickets) | Parking at the Convention Center $5/vehicle or free parking across the street.

 

St. John's Greek Festival

7th Annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5K Beach Walk

What: Walk to raise money and awareness for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
Time: Registration at 9:00 a.m., Beach Walk at 10:00 a.m., Post-Walk celebration at 11:00 a.m.
Cost: Free registration; donations encouraged.

 

18th Annual Little River Shrimpfest

Date: October 14 - 15, 2023
Where: Historic Little River Waterfront
What: Shrimp and fresh local seafood will be served! Enjoy 2 stages of live music, stilt walkers, balloon artists, a variety of art and craft vendors, business expos, and more.
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. 

 

Myrtle Beach Mini Marathon & Coastal 5K

Date: October 14, 2023
Where: Myrtle Beach Boardwalk
What: The 14th Annual Myrtle Beach mini marathon (13.1 miles), 5K (3.1 miles)
Time: 7 a.m.
Cost: Mini Marathon $92, 5K $55 (prices may increase on race day)

 

7th Annual Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival

Date: October 20 - 22, 2023
Where: Charlie's Place (1420 Carver Street), Myrtle Beach
What: Bringing a diverse group of local, regional, and national jazz artists to celebrate Myrtle Beach’s music history and culture, alongside the best food vendors in the area.
Cost: Free admission

 

3rd Annual Myrtle Beach Jeep Jam

Date: October 20 - 22, 2023
Where: Burroughs & Chapin Former Myrtle Square Mall Site on N Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach
What: A 3-day festival featuring an epic off-road obstacle course, car show, beach crawls, raffles, nightly parties around the city, and over 90 vendors!
Time: Friday 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., Saturday/Sunday 11:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Cost: $10 per day for attendees not with a registered Jeep | Children under 12 FREE

 

44th Loris Bog-Off Festival

Date: October 21, 2023
Where: Downtown Loris
What: Chicken Bog cooking contest, arts and crafts vendors, car show, live entertainment, children's fun area, plenty of chicken bog, fireworks extravaganza, and more.

42nd Annual North Carolina Oyster Festival

OystersWhen: October 21 - 22, 2023
Where: 11 East 2nd Street, Ocean Isle Beach, NC
What: Come celebrate everything oyster!  Live entertainment, oyster eating contest, oyster shucking contest, oyster stew cook-off, vendors and more.
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday | 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday
Cost:  $5 per adult (cash only); kids 12 years and under are free.

 

34th Annual Wooden Boat Show

When: October 21 - 22, 2023
Where:  Waterfront and along Front Street in Historic Downtown Georgetown, SC
What: One of the Southeast’s best wooden boat exhibits with more than 100 classic wooden boats ranging in size from kayaks to yachts, boatbuilding, boat race, children’s model boatbuilding, a youth sailing regatta, knot tying, maritime arts and crafts, and food.
Time: 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Saturday  |  11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Sunday

52nd Annual North Carolina Yam Festival

Date: Saturday, October 28, 2023
Where: Tabor City, NC
What: “I Yam What I YAM” Festival featuring a car/truck/bike/tractor show, food and craft vendors, parade, sweet potato cook-off, sweet potato pie eating contest, sweet potato race, kids’ zone and more.

Monster Dash 5K Run/Walk

What: Come join the Inaugural Monster Dash 5K and Spooky Shuffle 1 Mile at Broadway at the Beach! They have lots of fun and exciting things planned for the entire family to kick off the Halloween season!

Brew at the Zoo

Where: Brookgreen Gardens, Murrells Inlet
What: A fun fall favorite for the adults! Enjoy an evening of beer tasting, visiting vendors, and enjoying live entertainment, all while seeing the beauty of Brookgreen!
Time: 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Cost: $45 for members, $50 for non-members, $25 for designated drivers (non-beer tasting), $100 VIP ticket, includes VIP Beer Garden private seating with full-size beers and soup tasting.

 

19th Annual Murrells Inlet Oyster Roast

Date: November 4, 2023
Where: Murrells Inlet (Wicked Tuna Parking Lot)
What: Enjoy the scenery, comradery, and plenty of oysters. Featuring all-you-can-eat oysters, live music and more.

 

Art in the Park

Date: November 11 - 12, 2023
Where: Market Common's Valor Park
What: Come see 50 artists - both local and visiting. Types of art include paintings, woodworking, photography, jewelry, fabric, glass, metal, pottery, and stone.
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

 

Mythical and Medieval Festival

Date: November 11 & 12, and November 18 & 19, 2023
Where: RH Acres, 3833 Socastee Blvd, Myrtle Beach
What: Come out to their village and watch medieval combat & blacksmith demonstrations. Visit pirate, knight, and Viking encampments, artisan areas and more. This event raises money for Caleb’s Dragonfly Dreams, a local non-profit organization.
Time: 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Cost: One-day tickets $15 for adults | $10 for children 4-11

 

The Market Common’s Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony

Date: November 18, 2023
Where: Grand 14 Movie Theater, 40002 DeVille Street, Myrtle Beach
What: Come kick off the holiday season with kids' festive activities, photos with Santa Claus, holiday performances, holiday treats, complimentary carriage rides, trackless train rides, face painting, balloon art, bounce houses and more. 
Time: 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

 

The Great Christmas Light Show 

Date: November 20 - December 30, 2023
Where: North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex
What: New lights and new displays, which make it a new experience! The Great Christmas Light Show is a drive-through light show that features over 2 million lights displayed along a 2-mile drive throughout the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex. See over 500 magical light displays, and experience enchanting animated figures and holiday scenes where the lights come to life. After driving through the light show, everyone is invited to park their car and visit Santa’s Village where they can enjoy hot chocolate, s’mores and meet Santa!
Time: 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Nights of a Thousand Candles

Lights over waterDate: November 25, 26, and 30th 2023 (December dates available as well)
Where: Brookgreen Gardens
What: See the Gardens come to life amid the soft glow of more than 2,800 hand-lit candles and millions of sparkling lights! Hear holiday music, taste hot apple cider, and see family and friends surrounding you during this holiday season event! Be sure to pre-purchase your tickets as dates sell out quickly!
Time: 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Cost: Members: Adult $30 / Children $14 Non-members: Adult $35/ Children $17
