Doughnuttery and Tipsy Scoop Ice Cream Barlour- Now Open!

Located at Broadway on the Beach, IT’SUGAR has joined forces with two other amazing sweet destinations: Doughnuttery, and Tipsy Scoop Ice Cream Barlour! Doughnuttery provides a sweet topping bar to customize your own doughnuts! Some of the toppings include Unicorn Nuts (cotton candy, edible glitter and sugar). Tipsy Scoop supplies some amazing boozy treats for you to enjoy, infusing alcohol with ice cream! Jeff Rubin, Founder of IT’SUGAR is ecstatic to be collaborating “to create a uniquely sweet destination”.

House of Blues – Now Re-Open!

We are excited to hear that House of Blues Myrtle Beach has reopened with some fantastic new items on their menu! Check out their new Culinary Set List that is music to your mouth, along with their previous Top Hits on the menu. House of Blues manager, Robert Simeone, explained, “Our very talented team methodically created a selection of made-from-scratch dishes that stay true to the menu’s signature flavor profiles, while introducing both new and familiar ingredients that complement favorites.” Make sure to order something from the new selection and let us know what your favorite is!

Duck Donuts- Now Open!

Duck Donuts just added a new location in Myrtle Beach! Enjoy the morning with made-to-order donuts and their 100% Arabica roasted bean coffee. You can try them bare, with cinnamon sugar, or with icing! Customize your donut to your liking with toppings such as sprinkles: rainbow and chocolate, graham cracker, chopped peanuts, chopped bacon, shredded coconut, and Oreos. Also add on a drizzle of hot fudge, marshmallow, salted caramel, or raspberry to top it off. Also to mix things up, try their donut breakfast sandwiches, or donut sundaes topped with ice cream. Duck Donuts will make you "quack" with excitement!

Independent Republic Brewing Co- Now Open!

201 Fantasy Harbour Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579
A new brewery is coming to Myrtle! Independent Republic will be joining the Boathouse Waterway Bar and Grill to serve you some award-winning beer when they open April 1st of this year! We cannot wait for the beer garden that overlooks the waterway, and the free summer concert series the Boathouse offers. Sean Taylor, Head Brewer, is passionate about brewing great beer, and ensuring everyone they will find something they will enjoy!

Pho Claire– Now Open!

A brand new Vietnamese restaurant, recently opened this February. Pho Claire offers rich soups, noodles, rice, and specialty drinks! With a variety of fresh ingredients, food is only made when ordered. They pride themselves in a relaxing ambiance and fast customer service. General Manager, Anthony Nguyen hopes that his restaurant will bring a new experience of Vietnamese cuisine to those in Myrtle Beach.

Sneaky Beagle- Now Open!

The Grumpy Monk restaurant family has a new addition! Sneaky Beagle gives you a unique experience of dining with your dog! This new doggy diner is offering sandwiches,

tacos, and salads for you, while providing chicken breast and rice, and frozen yogurt for your furry friends! We are familiar with Grumpy Monk’s rustic theme, but owner, Chris Evans let us know to be prepared for a quirkier and brighter ambiance. EdVenture Children’s Museum - Now Open!

Brand new in February 2019, EdVenture Children's Museum of Myrtle Beach features interactive and educational exhibits that will entertain kids and parents alike! Located in Market Common, this new attraction is a welcomed addition to the popular family neighborhood. The hands-on exhibits are designed to teach kids about aviation and astronomy and include a flight simulator, an actual airplane engine, and a spaceship play area. It focuses on STEM education, and gives a unique experience to traditional school subjects.

Topgolf - Now Open!

Since their official announcement in Summer 2017, we have been anxiously waiting for the premier sports entertainment complex, Topgolf, to officially open, making Myrtle Beach its newest addition. Topgolf features golf games for all ages in an indoor/outdoor facility, with bars, dining options and television viewing areas. We are so happy to announce that Topgolf opened their doors on March 1st, 2019! Take some time on your Myrtle Beach vacation to check out this new sports attraction! The New Twelve 33 Distillery

Something new is brewing in the Myrtle Beach area that will have locals and visitors drinking for joy. Craft distillery Twelve 33 is the first of its kind along the Grand Strand to create a “grain to glass” locally sourced gin, vodka, rum, bourbon, and whiskey. Charles Bach Wonders!

Get a taste of Las Vegas and experience the magic when you visit Myrtle Beach for your next vacation. Charles Bach, international illusionist, has opened up his very own show for summer 2019 at Broadway at the Beach. Helium Balloon Ride at Skyrider Park- Coming Soon

Get ready to take flight in April 2019! A tethered helium balloon ride attraction is scheduled to come to downtown Myrtle Beach at the corner of 8th Avenue North and Chester Street for the summer of 2019. Enjoy getting a bird’s eye view of our beach town over 400 feet high above ground. You will not be able to miss the balloon soaring along with the seagulls! Currently a temporary attraction for this summer, you will want to be sure to get your spot in line as it’s sure to sell out quickly.

The Simpsons in 4D & Kwik-E-Mart - Now Open!

It’s showtime! A new dimension of family fun hits Myrtle Beach's Broadway at the Beach with a first-of-its-kind attraction—The Simpsons in 4D. This all-new experience features Springfield’s Kwik-E-Mart and Aztec Theater! Guests will rub elbows with the town’s popular residents, including America’s favorite family, The Simpsons. Featuring a Simpsons-themed lobby and theater experience featuring Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie, the Aztec Theater is like actually walking into Springfield. Tickets can be purchased at the box office.

Myrtle Beach 1000 Lights Water Lantern Festival

This April 13th, you can experience 1000 Lights on the water at Market Common’s Grand Park. Each ticket includes an eco-friendly lantern, a decoration kit, entertainment, and a glow stick. You will be able to enjoy a once in a lifetime memory with your family, while you watch a thousand lanterns float along the pond at Grand Park. The purpose of the lantern festival is to gather friends, families, and communities together. Thousands come in remembrance of loved ones and in hope of new beginnings.

 

New Barefoot Landing Events

One of the top retail destinations in the Myrtle Beach area is getting ready for the 2019 summer season! New shops and attractions will be opening just in time to enjoy the beautiful South Carolina weather.
