Summer Family Activities at Vacation Myrtle Beach Resorts

Summer Resort Activities in Myrtle BeachSummer is one of the most exciting times in Myrtle Beach! Many resorts offer activities throughout the summer, making it easy to plan a fun family vacation without having to go far from the resort.

Below are some highlights of the family activities taking place at Vacation Myrtle Beach resorts this summer 2014!

Captain’s Quarters Resort: This resort will offer a daily children’s activities program that will take place seven days a week. This will allow children to participate in a variety of activities like Splashtastic Pool Games, Disney Trivia, Arts and Crafts, Beach Soccer and more! Plus they will have a Kids Night Out on Tuesdays, Chief Kamu’s Fire and Hula Show on most Tuesdays and Saturdays and so much more! Click here to view all of their activities.

Caravelle Resort: With kids’ activities every day of the week, The Caravelle is always a fun place. Additionally, they will be having special dinners such as Kabob Dinners on Wednesdays, Fish Fries on Fridays and Steak-Outs on Saturdays. Throughout the summer they will also have special appearances by Salty the Shark, Splash, and Magic the Lion! Carolina Winds Resort: Held each weekday, Carolina Winds’ daily activities include a variety of fun games, crafts and more! With activities such as Wednesday afternoon Trivia Galore, Thursday morning Shark Tooth Search and Friday afternoon Pool Games, kids will not have a moment of boredom. Crown Reef Resort: With activities held on the pooldeck Monday through Friday and a brand new waterpark opening soon, kids will not be bored at Crown Reef! Their activities will include such events as Beach Soccer, Family Scavenger Hunt, Water Balloon Toss and Shark Tooth Search, just to name a few. Beach Colony Resort: Beach Colony will have a variety of activities throughout the summer including Wednesday Fish Fries with Salty the Shark, Free Scoop Day at Shark Bites on Thursday afternoons, Hula Hoop Contest, Live Music, Fire and Hula Show and more! Beach Cove Resort: This North Myrtle Beach resort has daily children’s activities five days a week, Monday through Friday, including special activities like Scavenger Hunt, Pool Relays, Capture the Flag, Shark Tooth Search and more! Chief Kamu’s Fire and Hula Show is also performed here on Thursdays all summer long. To view their entire activities schedule, click here.

Forest Dunes: This resort has daily children’s activities Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, plus they have visits from Salty the Shark on Wednesdays and Fridays! Additionally, Forest Dunes will have the Chief Kamu Fire and Hula Show on Sundays, Dive-In Movie Night on Thursdays and a Balloonist, Glitter Tattoos and Face Painting on Wednesdays.

Landmark Resort: Landmark Resort has a unique event this summer on Sundays and Wednesdays evenings: the Magic of Michael Bairefoot Show, for $5 a person, preluded by a Kid’s Magic Show Buffet ($9.95 plus tax for adults and $6.99 plus tax for ages 2 to 10). Plus, they have Monday through Friday daily activities, daily poolside cookouts, DJ Hurricane Pool Party a couple of times a week and the Chief Kamu Fire and Hula Show with a Fire Show Cookout on Saturdays.

Ocean Creek Resort: Located near North Myrtle Beach, this resort has activities Monday through Friday for children as well as other activities throughout the week. For example, they have Pizza Night on Thursdays as well as Dive-In Movies, Dance Parties on Fridays and Cookouts with Live Music on Saturdays. They also have happy hour at their Beach Club daily. Sea Watch Resort: Sea Watch Resort has fun activities every day! Plus they also have special dinners planned throughout the summer including Caribbean Cook-Out, Fish Dry and American Cook-Out.
