The 2018 Inaugural Music & Arts Festival Is Right Around The Corner

Fall is right around the corner, which means festival season in Myrtle Beach is fast approaching! Visitors and locals seeking a fun, new fall event will definitely want to pencil in the Inaugural Music & Arts Festival, proudly presented by Wicked Weed Brewing on September 8.


The lively new event will combine local music and art with local food and beverages - a match made in heaven. Boasting over 30 beer and wine options from a diverse array of vendors, visitors will have no problem finding the perfect concoction to wet their whistle. Wicked Weed Brewery Arts & Music Festival Myrtle BeachParticipants will include Flip Doubt Art, Sticky Fingers, Wine & Design, Tropical Sno, Inlet Handcrafted Pottery and more, plus, Wicked Weed, of course! 

Wicked Weed will feature rare releases as well as options served throughout the day:

Wicked Weed Rare Release at the Top of Each Hour

  • 1:00 pm – Chocolate Covered Black Angel – Bourbon Barrel-Aged Dark Sour Ale with Chocolate and Cherries
  • 2:00 pm – White Angel – Barrel-Aged American Sour Ale Fermented with Muscadine Grapes
  • 3:00 pm – Golden Angel – Barrel-Aged American Sour Ale Fermented with Apricots
  • 4:00 pm – Red Angel – Barrel-Aged American Sour Ale with Raspberries
  • 5:00 pm – Angel of Darkness – Barrel-aged American sour. Blended with 1.5 pounds per gallon of boysenberries, blackberries, raspberries, and cherries and aged in Oloroso sherry casks
  • 6:00 pm – Artistry I – Barrel-Aged American Sour Ale fermented with cherries, mangoes, and lime zest

Wicked Weed Beers Served Throughout the Day

  • Myrtille – Barrel-Aged American Sour Ale with Blueberries
  • Oaxacan – Tequila Barrel-Aged Smoked Sour Ale with Grapefruit and Lime Zest
  • Uncle Rick’s – Pilsner
  • Pernicious – IPA
  • Pacificmost Gose – Guava & Mango Gose
  • Barrel Aged El Paraiso – Imperial Coffee Stout Ale Brewed with Coffee and Cocoa Nibs
  • Dark & Stormy – Rum Barrel-Aged Ale brewed with Ginger and Molasses
  • Barrel Aged Milk & Cookies – Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Milk Stout Brewed with Golden Raisins, Cinnamon, and Vanilla

There will be plenty to do and see at the event, as 30+ local and regional artists showcase their finest handmade offerings for sale. Event attendees can expect to see everything from jewelry, clothing, and homemade food items to local books, creative gifts and souvenirs, and so much more. Purveyors will be present to chat about their art and answer any questions guests might have.


And, it wouldn’t be a festival without kids' activities and live entertainment, and the Music & Arts festival lineup will not disappoint! The final schedule is still being confirmed - stay tuned for details.


This exciting new festival will take place at Grande Park, ideally located in the popular Market Common district. Located directly across from the main Market Common strip, the festival will offer easy access to a wide variety of local shops and restaurants, making it easy to hit the town after the event. And, Market Common offers ample public parking along the street or via the venue parking garage, which is free!


The first Music & Arts Festival will take place on Saturday, September 8th from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
