The New Beach Club at the Boardwalk

Myrtle Beach visitors will soon have a brand-new spot along the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk to enjoy waterfront dining and entertainment. The new ‘Beach Club’ entertainment complex broke ground in 2017 and the new tenants will be opening their doors just in time for the 2018 summer season.

Located along the 14th Avenue North portion of the Boardwalk, the Beach Club construction will also include an expansion of the Boardwalk north to include additional hotels. The total project will offer 55,000 square feet of space spread across three stories with room for several new restaurants and shops.

The first floor of the Beach Club will offer two new eateries, Papa’s Raw Bar and Burgerfi.
Originating from a quiet beach town in Florida, Papa’s Raw Bar features fresh, local fare in a casual island atmosphere. Their motto of ‘Eat, Drink, and Be Local’ is sure to resonate with Myrtle Beach visitors as they showcase the Grand Strand’s finest cuisine. The menu will include an eclectic selection of appetizers and snacks, tacos, sandwiches, sushi, and a full raw bar.

Burgerfi already offers several locations along the Grand Strand and will be a great new addition for beach-goers seeking a hearty burger. Their menu features antibiotic and hormone free beef and fresh, local toppings. Visitors can also kick back and cool off with a refreshing milkshake, custard concrete, or floats, which are in a variety of tempting flavors.

The Bimini Room, the sister restaurant of Papa’s Raw Bar, will enjoy a cozy location on the second-floor rooftop patio overlooking Ocean Boulevard. Also hailing from Lighthouse Point, Florida, The Bimini Room concept will focus on fresh seafood and creative cocktails.

Tin Roof, a Nashville-based live entertainment venue, is opening this June and will occupy the entire third floor of the new complex. Featuring a ‘better than bar food’ theme, the menu includes a scrumptious array of creative southern concoctions. Items include tacos, quesadillas, salads, sandwiches, burgers, and ‘comfort’ plates, which will make it easy to find something for even the pickiest eater. The venue also boasts an impressive beer and cocktail list, plenty of scenic outdoor seating, and a full lineup of live entertainment. Tin Roof visitors are sure to enjoy the eclectic, funky vibe and the delectable food and drink selections.

The overall design of the new oceanfront complex will offer open-air breezeways, extensive outdoor seating, glass exterior walls, and an overall contemporary look to provide a more modern beach entertainment experience. Several other shops and vendors, including a coffee shop, are expected to be announced soon. The project will also include the construction of a charming oceanfront park area, which will be a great new spot to relax and enjoy the ocean breeze.
