Grand Strand visitors seeking a fresh, local spot to refuel after a busy day at the beach are in luck! Introducing Water Tree Cafe, a brand-new addition to the Market Common shopping and dining district.

The Water Tree Cafe menu is simple and elegant with fresh takes on classic dishes.

Get started with a mouthwatering order of fried pickles, served with a house-made chipotle ranch. Or, for a more indulgent option, try the fried cheesesteak pierogis or the mini crab cakes. The Water Tree Cafe Logo

For lunch or a lighter dinner, try one of the salads or handheld options, which include signature sandwiches and tacos.

Salad options include the classic caesar, southwest chicken salad, crab salad, heirloom tomato caprese napoleon, ahi tuna, and the chef’s ‘salad of the day’. Water Tree also offers seven homemade dressing options to complete the experience.

The sandwiches are equally as satisfying with options ranging from the spicy buffalo chicken wrap, the roasted veggie panini, and the chef’s signature ‘panini of the week’. If you’re in the mood to splurge, try one of the Water Tree burgers, which are hand-pressed in-house, cooked to your preferred temperature, and loaded with succulent toppings.

Taco lovers will definitely appreciate the flavorful options available at Water Tree, with protein options including pork belly, beef, chicken, tofu, and shrimp. All tacos are served on a soft shell and come with a hearty side of chips and homemade salsa.

Dinner guests seeking a hearty entree aren’t left out either. Water Tree offers several decadent selections for visitors seeking a charming, quiet spot for fantastic local cuisine.

The homemade pierogi plate is a popular option, as Water Tree is one of the few spots along the Grand Strand that serves this Bavarian-inspired delicacy. The teriyaki glazed salmon, which is served with sautéed bell peppers, Asian slaw, and a sesame soy vinaigrette, and the ‘Coastline Catch of the Day’ are great choices if you’re in the mood for fresh seafood. Or, for a southern-inspired creation, try the ‘Apple Cider Pork Chops’, which are grilled bone-in and served with a fresh apple bacon chutney, creamy homestyle grits, and an apple cider demi-glace. Other excellent entree options include the vegetable stir-fry, the chicken saltimbocca, and the pan seared beef medallions.

Water Tree also features a variety of seasonal selections and daily specials. Recent creations include their ‘Crab Rangoon’ appetizer with guava dipping sauce, the ‘Shrimp Salad Roll’, and the ‘Thanksgiving Panini’, which came loaded with roast turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and an orange cranberry aioli.

If you have a sweet tooth and are looking for a spot to satisfy your cravings, Water Tree also offers a full selection of fresh baked goods, including cupcakes, donuts, and pastries.

Water Tree Cafe offers a casual, come-as-you-are atmosphere and a friendly staff that is excited to serve you.

Whether you are looking for a great new spot for lunch with the family, a romantic cafe for a night out with a special someone, or a local bakery to grab a few treats, Water Tree Cafe is bound to be your new favorite Market Common vendor. Call (843) 839-1401 for more information.
