By Megan Burke

Are you a fan of open-air dining, eclectic beach cuisine, and live music? Is so, Tin Roof is calling your name. This new restaurant is the talk of the town - and it’s not hard to figure out why.

Tin Roof is the first new vendor to open its doors in the brand-new Oceanfront Entertainment Complex. Located along the bustling Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, this new waterfront destination offers three stories and a stunning, modern design that is sure to be the talk of the town. Tin Roof occupies the penthouse suite of the building with tons of outdoor space and panoramic ocean views.

Coined as a ‘live music joint’, Tin Roof is THE new place to be for live entertainment along the Grand Strand. Though many area restaurants offer live music on weekends, Tin Roof features live entertainment daily, and not just during the evening! Weekend visitors can stop by for lunch, happy hour, dinner, or for a late-night drink and enjoy lively jams all day and into the night. Tin Roof books multiple guests throughout the day and invites artists that cover a variety of genres, from country and rock to beach music and more!

Music isn’t the only draw for this exciting new oceanfront venue. Tin Roof also offers a mouthwatering food menu that pairs nicely with their cool, refreshing beverage list.

Get started with a heaping pile of wings, offered in several creative flavors like ‘bourbon buffalo’ and ‘tenniyaki’. Or, enjoy a southern starter like the fried green tomatoes, pork rinds, fried pickles, or the signature ‘Dixie biscuits’. Made with smoked brisket, bacon, peach jam, and cheddar cheese, these biscuits are a crowd pleaser!

For the main event, visitors can choose from an array of lighter items and handhelds, like tacos, quesadillas, salads, and sandwiches. Or, dive into a hearty comfort plate, like chicken and waffles, voodoo shrimp, or their famous Nashville hot chicken - a fun new feature for the Myrtle Beach area. Guests can also indulge in a heaping Tin Roof burger, which are handmade from a house blend of Angus beef and loaded with mouthwatering toppings.

If you have a sweet tooth, be sure to order the Moon Pie split, which is just as decadent as it sounds! This unique dessert features a nostalgic childhood favorite, Moon Pies, split in half and topped with banana pudding, butter pecan ice cream, bourbon caramel sauce, and chocolate syrup. How’s that for a beach treat?!

If tasty adult treats are more your style, check out the Tin Roof drink list, which boasts a wide variety of beer, wine, and signature cocktails. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, try the ‘coastal passion’, made with two types of rum, passion fruit puree, simple syrup, fresh pineapple, and fresh orange. Or, if you’re seeking a true beach beverage, try an ‘Absolut crush’, offered in several fun flavors, or a ‘rowdy roof bucket’. There are plenty of tasty options for visitors to sip and savor!

Tin Roof in is located along the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk at 14th Avenue North. Be sure to check out this exciting new addition during your next Myrtle Beach adventure!
