To 10 Things to Do or See at Broadway at the Beach

Broadway at the Beach is a great time for couples and families! You have so many things to choose from to do, that you can spend multiple days getting your fill of all that Broadway has to offer! Broadway is a circular shaped complex surrounding a lagoon, the complex abounds with attractions, shopping and dining options.

1.       Ripley’s Aquarium: There are so many wondrous experiences to be had at Ripley’s Aquarium. One of the most popular exhibits is Dangerous Reef. There is a 340 foot long moving floor that takes you under some of the most dangerous fish in the ocean including sharks! There other fun experiences to be had like the Mermaid Experience, let your little girl be transformed into a mermaid! You can buy a timed ticket for $21.99 for adults, a child’s ticket ages 2-5 is $7.99 and ages 6-11 $16.99.

2.       WonderWorks and Soar and Explore: This fun “amusement park for the mind” will keep your kids thinking while also enjoying themselves. Do things like the 6D Extreme Motion Ride, and experience a lifelike ride with 3D film, special effects and full motion seats! Take it outside for a fun ropes course and zipline! To get the best value you want the full package with general admission, a game of lazer-tag and Soar and Explore Ropes Course and Zipline, adults are $39.99 and children 4-12 are $36.99.

3.       MagiQuest: Your kids will love this interactive and magical live-action game! You will use a wand to navigate 20,000 square feet of dueling, spell casting and fighting evil! The best part is you get to keep your wand, which remembers every magical achievement and picks up where you left off on each return visit!

4.       Pavilion Park: A favorite among locals and tourists, Pavilion Park, used to be located at the Boardwalk, but now calls Broadway home. Find your inner kid and reminisce with classic carnival style rides, new rides, and a healthy dose of nostalgia.

5.       Broadway Grand Prix: Go-kart tracks, arcade games, and mini golf oh my! These are just a few of the things making Broadway Grand Prix a screaming good time! Grab an all you can ride wristband for $29.95 over 48” and $19.95 for under 48”.  You can also purchase each ticket for $2.00, with each ride requiring from 2 tickets to 4 tickets.

6.       Dragon’s Lair Fantasy Golf: A medieval twist on putt-putt golf with a fire breathing dragon to boot! Play for $9.00 per person before 6 p.m.

7.       Celebrity Square/Nightlife:

a.       Crocodile Rocks Dueling Piano Bar: A rousing good time, catch all of your favorite songs played by Crocodile Rocks musicians and laugh the night away with their hilarious one-liners.

b.      Carolina Comedy Club: Catch some big names as well as some up and coming local talent every night of the week!

8.       Hollywood Wax Museum: Broadway’s NEWEST addition is the Hollywood Wax Museum. Recently opened, the wax museum is sure to be a highlight of anyone’s trip, checking out lifelike wax replicas of celebrities. Check-out Hannah’s Mirror Maze and the Outbreak exhibit for even more fun!

a.       Amici’s Bistro: A delicious array of authentic Italian food at great prices. Try the Lasagne Frito or one of their Ricotta Pizza baked in a brick oven. Bon A petit.
