With Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, Tanger Outlet Centers, Market Common, Coastal Grand and the Myrtle Beach Mall just minutes away by car in either direction you have the top choices in shopping, dining, and entertainment venues offered by these great attractions. Our knowledgeable golf staff can help you book a round of golf at any of the over 100 golf courses along the Grand Strand, including the famed Dunes Golf and Beach Club, which is ranked annually among the top 50 courses in the United States. Forest Dunes staff will help you plan your day or evening in Myrtle Beach, SC and can offer discount tickets to virtually all of Myrtle Beach's top attractions and theaters.

Policies:
Check in time is 4 pm or later. Check out time is before 11 am. The credit card used for the deposit must be presented at check-in, with matching photo ID. We are unable to accept cash. One responsible adult, 25 years or older per unit. Pets are not allowed. A fine of $500 will be assessed if a pet is brought into a unit. Service animals are not considered pets when required to perform a specific duty for the owner, and must be registered at the front desk at check-in. Emotional support animals however are considered pets and are not allowed at any time. An additional $10 per person, per night may be added for adults ages 17 or older; kids 16 or younger stay free within maximum occupancy. Cribs are available on a first come, first serve basis at check in. All special requests are subject to availability upon check in. A $10/night per vehicle registration fee will be charged at check-in. You may register one vehicle for one bedrooms and up to two for three bedrooms. Due to parking restrictions, motorcycles, trailers, golf carts, and related equipment are NOT permitted on resort property. A $200 credit card pre-authorization is required for a security deposit on your arrival day. The authorization will be released after check-out and will only be charged if there are damages, missing items, excessive cleaning requirements, unpaid balances, if check-out procedures are not followed or checking out later than 11 a.m. Pre-authorization will be released within 10 days of departure less any charges. Daily housekeeping services are not provided. A departure cleaning fee is included.
Reservations booked prior to 72 hours before arrival: The first nights room and tax as well as any additional services for the first night of your stay will be charged to your credit card to guarantee your reservation. Remaining balance will be automatically charged 72 hours prior to arrival to the credit card on file; if we are unable to process the card on file for the balance due, the reservation will automatically be cancelled and the deposit will be forfeited.
Reservations booked within 72 hours of arrival: Full payment including taxes, fees and any additional services is due at time of booking.
Forest Dunes Resort Vacation Interuption Protection (VIP) Plan
Add Forest Dunes' Vacation Interruption Protection (VIP) Plan to your reservation in order to protect your vacation investment (call for pricing details!). The VIP Plan can be purchased at the time of booking or within 24 hours of booking, and will offer you the following great benefits to give you complete peace of mind before and during your hard earned vacation:
-Cancel any time before 4 PM on your check in day and your deposit will be refunded in full
-Make changes to your reservation as you need*
-In the unfortunate event that your stay is cut short, you will receive a refund for the remaining portion of your stay*
By declining the VIP Plan, you understand that the following will apply to your reservation:
-The reservation deposit of your first night (including taxes/fees) is non-refundable
-Any changes made to the reservation, prior to arrival, will incur a $20 fee per change; changes include, but are not limited to date changes and room type changes*
-No refund for early departures
*Any changes will require your booking to be re-calculated based on the current best available rate and the new actual length of stay. Early departures require checkout by 11:00am.
VIP Plan is not valid with winter rental snowbird reservations, third-party reservations, or Advanced Purchase reservations. Other exclusions may apply.
Accidental Damage Protection Plan
Purchase the optional Accidental Damage Protection Plan for only $39.99 to cover non-negligent or accidental damage to your unit that may occur during your stay. If something breaks, simply let us know immediately and your agreement kicks in to repair or replace the item. Most importantly, you are provided with peace of mind and you can get back to enjoying your vacation with no worries!
By purchasing, you will receive coverage for up to $1,000 of accidental damage. This may include but is not limited to:
-Furniture damage
-Scratches
-Scuffs or spills on carpets or bedspreads
-Broken lamps
-Scratches or scuffs to walls
-And more
If you opt to decline this optional coverage, a $200 preauthorization to a credit card will be required at check in to cover potential damage.
Plan is non-refundable. Does not cover intentional or malicious damage due to abuse or damage incurred while violating resort guidelines.

This trip was more than just a vacation. I have had one of the most challenging year. Lost my mother unexpectedly in June. I've been dealing with a relapse with my MS. I am a firm believer that God put people along your journey for a reason. I had the pleasure of meeting one of Gods angels while there. Bill is an exceptional employee and Forest Dunes should be proud to have him working there.

We had a wonderful stay at Forest Dunes! The room was clean and well stocked. Our shower handle broke while we were there. Maintenance was in and out within 10minutes of our call. The shower was as good as new. Housekeeping was courteous and efficient. Great job to all and thank you for a wonderful vacation!

We felt the staff was very organized. Maintenance did a good job. The grounds were neat. The only draw back was the lobby was getting renevated and it was pretty dusty and we noticed the computer and printer were not covered when they were sanding the ceiling.

This vacation was by far the best vacation I have ever had!! My best friend and I purposefully set out for this vacation to be a relaxing one and that is exactly what we did. Everyone was so wonderful there!! I think you have to more regular guests to ad to your list.

The facility was great. It was quiet for a family stay of a week. We have been to Myrtle Beach other times and stayed closer to the Grand Strand. I wanted somewhere more quiet and this was it. The condo was spacious and convenient. Would recommend.
