Booking a long weekend in one of the best beach vacation destinations is a perfect way to let your special someone know how much they mean to you this Valentine’s Day.

 

February in Myrtle Beach is quite a bit less crowded, but it is still filled with fun and events to keep you entertained during your visit, especially during Valentine’s weekend.

La Belle Amie Vineyard

Cozy up to your honey this Valentine’s Day with a bonfire at La Belle Amie Vineyard in Little River from noon to 5:00 p.m. on February 11th, the Saturday before Valentine’s Day; admission is $5 per person. Enjoy your favorite Twisted Sisters wines and of course hot spiced wine and light refreshments. You can even bring your own food in to fuel your fun. Make sure to wear your dancing shoes so you can enjoy the live music.  

 

Comedy Cabana

Laughter is the best medicine, so they say, but it is also a vital part of a great relationship! Take your date to the Comedy Cabana on February 14th, for a laugh filled Valentine's Day. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the show starts at 8:00 p.m. Comedian Chris Barnes, a high energy comic that will keep you laughing with his interpretation of his own life experiences will be headlining. David Toby and Cooter Douglas will also perform. Tickets are $20 per person. 

 

Barefoot Princess Riverboat

Take your significant other on a romantic Valentine's Sweetheart Cruise, Saturday, February 11th or Tuesday, February 14th aboard the Barefoot Princess Riverboat. The two-hour cruise will start with light appetizers during boarding and include a decadent buffet dinner and dessert; the cost is $52.00 per person.  The delectable dinner will feature tomato cucumber salad, prime rib, herb potatoes with smoked Gouda cheese, green bean almandine, dinner rolls, and chocolate desserts. After dinner you can kick your heels up and hold your special someone close during the entertainment portion of the cruise. They will be hosting a Sweetheart Dinner on February 11th, the Saturday before Valentine’s Day, beginning at 5 p.m. Enjoy this oceanfront romantic dinner for just $65.00 plus tax per couple. Each dinner is served with: an appetizer, salad, entree and dessert. This dinner is open to guests only so be sure to make your reservation. Kick it up a notch and purchase the Valentine’s Package to add on to your room, which includes the Sweetheart Dinner for two and breakfast for two any day of your stay, as well as a noon checkout for $80 plus tax. Customize your Valentine’s experience even more with two additional options: 1. One dozen roses with chocolate covered strawberries for $49 plus tax. 2. Caravelle Resort Dinner and Romance Package

Centrally located, Caravelle Resort will be offering a few different options so you can customize your Valentine’s Weekend. On Valentine’s Day you can enjoy a special dinner from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the St. Johns Salon A for just $65 plus tax per couple. It includes a three course meal and one glass of champagne. Some menu highlights are Crawfish Mac n Cheese, Grilled Sliced Lobster Tail over Lump Crab Raviolis with wilted Arugula and cured Tomatoes finished with Champagne Mushroom Cream, and Triple Chocolate Bread Pudding with Raspberry Compote and Champagne Crème’ Anglaise. Dinner is open to guests as well as the public. For those staying at the resort, you have the option to add a Valentine’s Romance Package to your reservation. The package will be delivered to your room and is just $35. It includes a bottle of champagne and two signature Caravelle Resort glasses and 12 chocolate covered strawberries. Landmark Resort Dinner and Package

 Landmark Resort is a top choice for those visiting Myrtle Beach for Valentine’s Day. They will be serving dinner for $54.95 per couple plus tax which includes your choice of a bottle of wine or champagne, one of four entrees like Ribeye and Fried Shrimp or Scampi served with Parmesan Risotto and Roasted Asparagus or Salmon Oscar served with Lump Crab Meat, Asparagus, Roasted Red Pepper Hollandaise and Parmesan Risotto. Finish out dinner with your choice of two desserts: White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake or Chocolate Covered Melon and Berry Platter.
