Booking a long weekend in one of the best beach vacation destinations is a perfect way to let your special someone know how much they mean to you this Valentine’s Day.


February in Myrtle Beach is quite a bit less crowded, but it is still filled with and events to keep you entertained during your visit, especially during Valentine’s weekend.

Sam Snead’s

Located in Carolina Forest, Sam Snead’s will be hosting a Couple’s Dinner with a special menu that will delight your taste buds. The dinner is $80 per couple and includes two appetizers, an entrée to share, two desserts and rose for all of the ladies. You can make your reservation by calling 843-903-3105. If ordering off of a menu is more your style, Sam Snead’s will have a limited menu with some of their most popular dishes to choose from.


Castano’s Italian Steakhouse

Take a short trip up U.S. 17 for a 4-course couple’s dinner to die for! For just $149 per couple you will start your meal with Smoked Oysters with Tabasco Granita, end it with Passion Fruit Spumoni di Zabaglione custard with passion fruit infused rum topped with a white chocolate cream and the two courses in between are too delectable for words! Castano’s will also be doing Valentine’s themed martini specials.


Ripley’s Aquarium

Prepare yourself for a unique experience in the Tunnel of Love at Ripley’s Aquarium. Ripley’s will be serving a 4-course dinner, that comes with admission to Ripley’s Aquarium, a drink ticket to use at the bar, a box of chocolates and to top it off a strolling musician. Sea Watch Resort Sweetheart Dinner

This north-end resort is perfect for a quiet getaway with plenty of easy beach access, seasonally enclosed pools and so much more. They will be hosting a Sweetheart Dinner on February 14th beginning at 5 p.m. Enjoy this oceanfront romantic dinner for just $50.00 plus tax per couple. Caravelle Resort Dinner and Romance Package

Centrally located Caravelle Resort will be offering a few different options so you can customize your Valentine’s Weekend. On Valentine’s Day you can enjoy a special dinner from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at their Santa Maria Restaurant for just $50 plus tax per couple. It includes an appetizer, entrée, fried cheesecake and champagne. Dinner is open to guests as well as the public. For those staying at the resort, you have the option to add a Valentine’s Romance Package to your reservation. The package will be delivered to your room and is just $45 plus tax. It includes a bottle of champagne on ice and signature Caravelle Resort glasses and chocolate covered strawberries. A third option for you to add romance to your weekend is a half dozen roses for that special someone for $25. Landmark Resort Dinner and Package

 Landmark Resort is a top choice for those visiting Myrtle Beach for Valentine’s Day. They will be serving dinner for $25 per person plus tax which includes your choice from four entrees, salad and sides as well as dessert. Dinner will be served in Latitudes from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. February 12th through 14th. You can also get the dinner in the Gazebo Restaurant from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on February 12th and 13th. Beach Cove Resort

Beach Cove Resort is located in North Myrtle Beach and is the perfect place to spend a romance filled weekend. Beach Cove offers you the complete package, for just $259 per couple you get two nights in an oceanfront suite, breakfast for two one morning of your stay, late check-out at noon on the day of your departure and a romantic dinner for two. Dinner will be served in Tradewind’s Café from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on February 13th and reservations are strongly recommended. Dinner is open to the public or guests to purchase ala carte for $99 per couple. Your taste buds will be delighted by the 4 course menu, plus an amuse bouche. Captains Quarters Resort

Captains Quarters is located in the heart of Myrtle Beach, steps away from the sultry Atlantic Ocean and white sandy beaches. Take your date to Loco Gecko on February 13th for a romantic and tasty Valentine's Dinner from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The meal will be four courses and plated for a relaxing and sophisticated evening. Each couple will get one shared appetizer: fried green tomatoes or crab cakes. The second course is a salad course, and each diner can choose a wedge salad or house salad. The main course will include a choice of entree per person:

Surf & Turf: Grilled shrimp and Ribeye served with a baked potato and sautéed asparagus.
Cedar Plank Salmon: Cedar plank salmon served with rice pilaf and sautéed broccoli.
Stuffed Baked Chicken Breast: Chicken breast stuffed and baked with spinach and a selection of cheeses served with lightly seasoned vegetable pasta.

Dinner will conclude with a dessert course and you can choose from red velvet cake or tiramisu.

Reservations are encouraged as space is limited. Dinner is just $49.99 per couple, which includes tax and includes sweet or unsweet tea as well as soda. A full bar will be available at an additional cost.
