Spring at Vacation Myrtle Beach Resorts

Now that spring is here many of the Vacation Myrtle Beach resorts are getting their summer amenities ready and open.

From pool bars, to snack bars, to lazy rivers to pools, the fun is about to begin!

Throughout the fall, winter and early spring, our Vacation Myrtle Beach resorts have been busy sprucing up their properties and making various upgrades so that they will be ready for when you return in the summer for your Myrtle Beach vacation!

You may be planning your Myrtle Beach vacation, and we are planning for you too! Many outdoor pools at the resorts are heated and open for your enjoyment. They are ready for you to come and have some fun!

The following is a list of what some of our resorts have done this off-season to get ready for your vacation:

Captain’s Quarters Resort 
• Updated paint color on all exterior doors, frames and hallways
• Added a hammock and hammock chair to the beach lawn area
• Replaced the floor at Loco Gecko
• Replastered the indoor pool and indoor lazy river

hotel BLUE 
• Painted rooms, doors and other areas
• Added flat screen TV’s  in all the ocean front rooms
• Reopening of Café BLUE serving Starbucks

The Caravelle Resort
• Ongoing waterproofing of balconies at main Caravelle building
• Remodeling Pirates Cove Ice Cream Shop (renovations will be done soon)
• Remodeling Marco Polo Pool Bar & Grill (renovations will be done soon)
• Remodeling Game Room (will reopen Easter weekend)
• Painted hallways and stairwells
• Landscaping projects
• Upgraded internet service to provide our guests with quicker service
• Will soon be relocating business center to provide a more quiet, private atmosphere for guests
• Santa Maria Restaurant received a custom made breakfast buffet
• St. Clements had a total lobby renovation; added 3 washers & 3 dryers, an ice machine and vending area for St. Clements guests; also renovated the St. Clements lobby bathroom

Ocean Creek Resort
• Renovated the Beach Club area
• Re-plastered the South Tower pool
• Upgraded certain units
• Re-paved the main road
• Updated the South Tower parking deck on the lower level
• Removed the old tennis courts that were not in use and made a quiet, tranquil area with plants and new trees
• New swing sets are being built down by the Beach Club

Beach Cove Resort
• Painted all unit doors
• Resurfaced oceanfront pool deck
• Resurfaced indoor pool deck
• Refinished hotel entrance pavers
• Refinished Tiki Bar wood decking
• New sound system for hotel entrance
• Replaced webcam
• Ongoing upgrades in many suites

Landmark Resort
• Resurfaced the large indoor pool
• In the process of putting in a new café in the lobby serving Starbucks

Palms Resort
• Improvements done in some rooms
• Elevators have been refaced

Sea Watch Resort
• Handicap accessible lifts installed in the north and south tower pool area
• Paved the roads and parking lots on property
• New lighting installed in the North Tower garage
• Pressure washed exterior of south tower and touched up exterior paint, also painted walkways and exterior doors
• Resurfaced north tower and south tower main pools, and did repairs on all other pools and spas
• New stone paving on pool decks; both in and outdoor
• New carpet on the outside hallways in South Tower
• New paint on hallway ceilings in South Tower

Forrest Dunes Resort
• Resurfaced around the lazy river and hot tub, with more upcoming outdoor pool area improvements
• Upcoming paving and garage surface repairs in the parking garage
