What’s Nearby: The Caravelle Resort

By Vacation Myrtle Beach

One of the great advantages of staying at one of the Vacation Myrtle Beach resorts is that on checking in you are given a VMB card. This is pretty much a “universal coupon”, since it gives the bearer discount at a wide range of attractions throughout Myrtle Beach, ranging from restaurants, golf courses, shops, services and other attractions along the 60-mile strand. The Caravelle, located midway between North Myrtle Beach and the International Airport, is close to tons of area attractions including several VMB partners like:

Lombardo’s Bistro – a family restaurant where the menu includes a variety of traditional Italian recipes and sea-foods. The bistro is located in 79th Avenue North. Chef and owner John Lombardo offers a free appetizer with entrée orders.

Carolina Roadhouse – located along N Kings Highway, this family restaurant specializes in catering and takeaways and has a menu to suit all tastes. Expect a free appetizer with your entrée order.

Liberty Tap Room– can be found just a few blocks away from Caravelle off of 76th Avenue North. Liberty Tap Room offers great food and a fantastic beer selection at terrific prices. Plus with your VMB card you’ll get $5 off your purchase of $25 of more. And if the weather is nice make sure to check out their patio.

Ducatis Pizzeria and Trattoria- is perfect for a quick and delicious family dinner, or is close enough for you to pick up a pizza or sandwich to take back to your room. Located near Grand Strand Medical Center, this local pizzeria is sure to please.

These are just three of the many restaurants close to the Caravelle where you can use your VMB card during your Myrtle Beach Vacation.

And there are also plenty of things to do around Myrtle Beach that you can get discounted admission or prices for just by using the discounts card you got upon checking to Caravelle. What could be simpler?
