Wicked Tuna Myrtle Beach: So Nice They Made It Twice

By Alexx Altman

Wicked Tuna Myrtle Beach SushiWicked Tuna is known for being one of the top restaurants along the MarshWalk in Murrells Inlet. You can find fresh seafood specials and sushi made daily. Described as a “hook to plate” restaurant, they feature the freshest locally caught seafood enhanced with local produce. Most recently, Wicked Tuna expanded their brand by opening a new location in Myrtle Beach at 2nd Avenue Pier.

At Wicked Tuna, you can enjoy happy hour daily from 4 pm – 6 pm.  Enjoy Sushi specials, two dollars off mixed drinks and house wines, four-dollar house liquor, and happy hour appetizers.

Delicious drink and food options include:

  • Murrells Swirl – A tasty combination of frozen Camarena watermelon margarita and Tito’s frozen lemonade served with a Camarena tequila floater.
  • Inlet Island Tea – Their Inlet twist on a top-shelf long island tea with a Kraken floater.
  • Pork Gyoza – Pork-filled dumplings with ponzu sauce.
  • Wicked Shrimp – Tempura fried and tossed in a house made spicy mayo.
  • Maki Rolls – California Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, Salmon Roll, Philly Roll, and more.

To ensure freshness from ocean to plate, their very own fishing fleet catches fresh oysters, mussels, tuna, crab, grouper, and every other seafood your stomach desires. Enjoy breakfast from 8 to 10:45 am Monday through Friday and 8 to 11:45 am on weekends.

Enjoy the beautiful ocean view from the deck or rooftop bar. The restaurant occupies the top two floors of the three-story pier and is fully enclosed with glass for clear views of the ocean. Bring the family while on vacation and watch a show of fireworks every Wednesday at 10 pm during the summer.

Stay at the beautiful South Wind on the Ocean Resort and drive an easy 14 minutes to the new Wicked Tuna Waterfront Dining located at 110 N Ocean Blvd at the south end of the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk.
