Ziplines in Myrtle Beach

By Samantha Norton

Myrtle Beach boasts family activities to keep you coming back for year after year. A popular activity right now is ziplining! You can soar into the sunset or practically zipline right into the ocean.

Myrtle Beach lays claim to four ziplines spread out across the grand strand.  Myrtle Beach Zipline Adventures, Soar and Explore Zipline and Ropes Course and Oceanview Adventures Zipline.

Myrtle Beach Zipline Adventures is located between eighth and ninth avenue north on the site of the old Myrtle Beach Pavilion. Riders are whisked 600 feet from tower to tower and can get up to speeds of 40 MPH. To top off the thrilling ride, hold your breath for the 60 foot free fall drop at the second tower. Experience the Zipline with your whole family, the lines accommodate up to six riders side by side! One zip and one free fall is $29 or purchase four zips and one free fall for $35. Purchase six or more tickets and one rider get to zip and fall for free!

Soar and Explore is presented by WonderWorks an interactive gaming experience for the family. You can do the ropes course or the zipline or both! Just the ropes course is $11.99, the zipline adventure is $19.99 or both do the combo pack for $26.99. The zipline adventure is a 1,000 feet ride over a 23 acre lake, making it the only zipline over water in Myrtle Beach! Tip: Ride at sunset and feel like you are painting the sky.

Oceanview Adventures, sister to Myrtle Beach Zipline Adventures, is located on Springmaid Boulevard where you get to soar and feel like you are soaring over the ocean.  Tickets to ride at Oceanview are $25 and you can free fall for $25!

Get your rush of adrenaline on at any of these locations! This will be a vacation experience your kids won’t soon forget!
