Halloween Events in Myrtle Beach

A number of events have been scheduled for Halloween in Myrtle Beach and the surrounding area. Here’s a listing of ghostly events for the area, but make sure to keep an eye on the Myrtle Beach events listings in case more events pop up.

  • Captain’s Quarters Halloween Party hosted by Salty at level 6 Entertainment Center, Captain’s Quarters Resort. This Costume Party is open to the public on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 3.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. 
  • Huntington’s Haunted Halloween Saturday Oct. 27 at Huntington Beach State Park - Atalaya, Murrells Inlet from 6.00 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. The Atalaya Castle will be the setting for some fearfully funny family fun – there will be two haunted house attractions, carnival games and more.
  • Boo Bash Community Halloween Party at the Childrens Museum of South Carolina on Friday Oct. 26 at 5.00 p.m. Have a great fright-fully good time with party games and even some scientific demonstrations.
  • Nathan Black 5K Starting at 8.00 a.m. on Oct. 24 at the Surfside Beach Pier parking lot. Come to this fun run or walk dressed in your scariest costume or your fastest running shoes.
  • Carolina Improv's "Whose "Haunting" Is It Anyway?" is an inter-active audience participation spook comedy show with the performers of Carolina Improv Company. The family-friendly show starts at 8.00 p.m. on Friday Oct. 26 at the Uptown Theater in Myrtle Beach. On Saturday is an adults-only show that starts at 8:30 p.m. Saturday's show also includes a costume contest.
  • Hard Rock Café will be staging a Halloween Pre-Party on the Patio on Saturday Oct. 27 at 7.00 p.m. Enjoy cool drinks and great music from the comfort of the patio while you watch the ghoulish Pandemonium going on in Celebrity Square.
  • Celebrity Square of Terror is the largest costume party in the South. There’ll be a live DJ (we hope he’s alive) for this rave that starts at 7.30 p.m. Prizes will be awarded later for the best three costumes.
  • Hard Rock Café again but on Wednesday Oct. 31st – kids in costume get to eat FREE when accompanied by a paying adult. The party lasts all day long.
  • Halloween Havoc NIT is a baseball tournament for kid from ages 8 – 18 and will take place at Grand Park at Market Commons on October 20 and 21. Kids are guaranteed a minimum of 4 games.
