Halloween in Myrtle Beach

There are always countless things to do in and around Myrtle Beach to celebrate Halloween. This year Halloween falls on a Tuesday, so most of the events take place on the adjacent weekend. As always, you should check with the local venues just in case there should be a change due to weather.

Saturday, October 21

*Kid-Friendly* Dress up in your spookiest costume and visit the X Gym Sports Mall in Myrtle Beach for the Grand Strand Halloween Fest! From 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. bounce houses, crafts, activity zones, kids karaoke, trick-or-treating and more will be available for kids and families to enjoy. And be sure to get there before 12 p.m. for the costume contest, featuring multiple categories. Admission is free!

*Kid-Friendly* From family-friendly frights to spookier challenges for the brave of heart, the Atalaya Fall Festival and Haunted Castle is definitely where you’ll want to be this Halloween! Escape the not-so-scary maze, or test your courage as you tour the Haunted Castle. There will also be carnival games, smores, children’s crafts, and much more! Be sure to catch the spooktacular fun on both Friday, Oct. 27 and Saturday, Oct. 28 from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for children ages 6-15, and children 5 and under are free.

Uptown Theatre showcases local talent trained in the art of improv. The Halloween special, Funny Fright Night is an improv comedy special filled with tricks and treats for adults, creating a totally unique and one-of-a-kind experience. This 13+ show will start at 7:30 p.m. on the 27th and will show again on October 28th. Call (843) 272-4242 for more information or to purchase tickets.
