Halloween in Myrtle Beach

There are always countless things to do in and around Myrtle Beach to celebrate Halloween. This year Halloween falls on a Monday, so most of the events take place on the adjacent weekend. As always, you should check with the local venues just in case there should be a change due to weather.

Friday, October 28

*Kid-Friendly* Looking for a family-friendly affair? If so, gather the clan and head to the Children’s Museum of South Carolina for the annual Boo Bash. Ideal for young children, the Boo Bash will feature a wide array of hands on Halloween themed games and activities, crafts, the Magic of Science show and lively costumes. Guests will also be able to explore all of the exciting museum exhibits. Admission is free for kids and only $5 for adults and the fun takes place from 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Who says Halloween has to be all scares and no giggles? If you are looking for a few laughs, head to Carolina Improv to enjoy a spook-tacular show. Uptown Theatre showcases local talent trained in the art of improv. The Halloween special, “Whose Haunting Is It Anyway?” will use suggestions from the audience to create a totally unique and one-of-a-kind experience. This 18+ show will start at 7:30 p.m. on the 28th and will show again on October 29th. Call (843) 272-4242 for more information or to purchase tickets.
