The expansion plans call for new double-decker gates with outside seating, more ticket counters and parking spaces, a rental car canopy,  additional jet fuel tanks, and a new TSA checkpoint. A total of 448 parking spaces will be added by Memorial Day next year in the cell phone/waiting area and in the long-term parking lot. The new gates will open MYR to more opportunities for both domestic and international travel. Travelers coming in and out of MYR will see several new projects come to completion by July 2024.
