By Julia Diem

What makes a good fine dining restaurant? Clearly the food must be excellent, the menu varied, the service exemplary, and the ambiance congenial. All of these 9 Myrtle Beach restaurants hit the mark on each of these aspects. For a truly unforgettable meal, we encourage you to book a table at at least of these delicious spots in the Myrtle Beach area during your stay.

These are the 9 best fine dining restaurants in Myrtle Beach that you won’t want to miss out on.

Aspen Grille

  • Address: 5101 N Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach
  • Price Point: $$$

The dishes at Aspen Grille, which are based on traditional Southern cuisine together with owner-chef Martin’s added personal twist, are from a varied menu that changes seasonally. The ingredients are all sourced from local suppliers to ensure you’re eating the tastiest, freshest meal possible.

For the best USDA Prime steaks and the perfect wine to pair with it, Aspen Grille delivers time and time again.

Rioz Brazilian Steakhouse

  • Address: 2920 Hollywood Dr, Myrtle Beach
  • Price Point: $$$

The Rioz Brazilian Steakhouse is as close to an authentic Brazilian Churrascaria as you will find outside of Brazil. If you’ve never been to a Brazilian steakhouse before, we highly recommend trying it not just for the delicious cuts of meat but for the experience as a whole.

This style of cooking originated with the open fireside roasts of Brazilian gauchos, or cowboys, from the Pampas region of southern Brazil. Food is served tableside by meat waiters called gauchos, who carry skewers bearing several types of meat that have been cooked on a rotisserie over a bed of charcoal.

The menu offers 15 different cuts of beef, pork, lamb, poultry, sausage and fish. Since it works similarly to a buffet where you can eat as much as you’d like, there’s no need to decide what you’re in the mood for, you can try it all!

Rioz Brazilian Steakhouse is located just outside of Broadway at the Beach. Enjoy shopping or simply stretching your legs after this tasty feast.

Gulfstream Café

  • Address: 1536 S Waccamaw Dr, Murrells Inlet
  • Price Point: $$

The Gulfstream Café has been voted “best restaurant with a view” and “most romantic” on the Grand Strand. Located a quick drive south from Myrtle beach, the ambiance and the food combine make this oceanfront cafe a must-visit.

Gulfstream Café is primarily a seafood restaurant, a common trait with most restaurants along the Strand. The Gulfstream Café does offer something for every taste though. Here you’ll find seasonal Oyster Roasts and a special Sunday brunch menu that includes a ‘build your own Bloody Mary’ bar.

For fresh seafood in the lowcountry, we highly recommend you enjoy a meal at Gulfstream Café.
