Best Places to Get Souvenirs in Myrtle Beach

Many Myrtle Beach vacationers pick up their memento to remember their trip from the beach. If you look hard you can find plenty of beautiful shells, rocks, starfish or shark teeth that are literally a piece of the beach you can bring home.

But not everyone wants to spend time hunting for their souvenir on the beach and some people have a different idea in mind of what they want to bring home.

Thankfully there are hundreds of souvenir shops and booths lining the sides of the boardwalk and streets of Myrtle Beach where you can buy just about any kind of souvenir you can think of. Here are a few places that Vacation Myrtle Beach resort guests can consider when looking for souvenirs.

Tiki Jim’s is often mentioned as a Myrtle Beach Souvenir favorite. The store has two branches in Myrtle Beach, and these are located at 1203 Celebrity Circle, and at Barefoot Landing. Much of the products to be found at Tiki Jim’s is in the form of T-shirts, some of which can be seen here. They also have a large selection of hats, baseball caps, music CDs, coffee mugs, signs, toys and a thousand other seaside souvenirs.

And if you can’t find what you’re looking for at Tiki Jim’s, both stores are located at large Myrtle Beach shopping areas, Broadway at the Beach and Barefoot Landing, meaning it is easy to stroll to another store that might have what you need.

Also high on the list of best souvenir places is the Gay Dolphin Gift Cove at 910 North Ocean Blvd. The store’s interior measures 26,000 square feet and is spread over 7 levels. It averages some 70,000 items of merchandise. The store has something for everyone and is so large that it can be easy to get lost or separated from your group! The Gay Dolphin has looked after Myrtle Beach visitors since 1946.

If you’re looking for something a bit more unique and long lasting than your typical t-shirt or keychain, consider taking a trip to Custom Outdoor Furniture in Garden City. You can find an outdoor patio set that will bring a little bit of that vacation vibe to your year-round home!
