Maggie Moos Ice Cream: VMB Partner Spotlight

MaggieMoo is the self-claimed inventor of the ice cream cupcake and ice cream pizza, and was started up in Kansas City in 1989. The company has since grown to be a franchise with 136 locations throughout 43 states and three countries. When you stop off at MaggieMoo’s you’ll get a choice of much more than ice cream. They also have milkshakes, smoothies, cakes and other treats, and have time and again been awarded blue ribbons by the National Ice Cream Retailers Association for their products.

Many people ask where the name MaggieMoo came from. It all goes back to that very first store in Kansas City, and was named after a cow on a farm that the original owners, Juel and Katherine Tillery, passed every day on the way to work, a cow that their young daughter called Maggie Moo.

MaggieMoo’s Ice Cream & Treatery has been called “the most fun ice cream shop anywhere” and serves more than 50 flavors with just as many mix-ins, resulting in a huge number of combinations, enough to please any taste. They make their ice cream fresh every day and the servings are generous.
