Nothing can put a damper on a trip to the beach like a rainy day, but Myrtle Beach still has plenty of activities to keep you busy. Weather won?t get in the way of your next Myrtle Beach vacation with these fun ideas. Here are a couple of ways to keep the whole family busy while staying dry.

If shopping is your hobby you can head to the stay dry at the Coastal Grand Mall featuring popular stores such as Gap, Footlocker, and Abercrombie & Fitch or the Myrtle Beach Mall which features the Bass Pro Shop. For the more adventurous shoppers, the Tanger outlets are located outside but if you can dodge the raindrops there are over 150 outlets to choose from.

The IMAX Theatre in Myrtle Beach is a 400-seat IMAX 3D Theatre. Designed with steeply tiered seating decks the giant screen is more than six stories tall and measures 60 feet by 83 feet and has a slight curvature that enables the images it carries to fill viewers' peripheral vision. For all the latest releases the Myrtle Beach area is host to theaters in Market Commons, Coastal Grande Mall, and Murrels Inlet.

Alabama Theatre, The Palace Theatre, and Dixie Stampede are amazing places to bring the whole family and watch a live show. With different shows each night these theatres are a great time for everyone.

Ripley's Aquarium is a $40 million, state-of-the-art, 87,000 square-foot aquarium experience, located at Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach. Touch a Sting Ray or walk through the underwater tunnels to get an up close view of the sharks.

Surf?s Up is a great place to take the kids. With an enormous video arcade and laser tag, Surf?s Up is great place to keep the kids entertained.
