Myrtle Beach Summer Events You Don’t Want to Miss

Myrtle Beach in the summer is always a fun vacation. From the hot sand between your toes to the sun shining down on you as you relax by the ocean, sometimes it seems like it can’t get much better than that! But, it can!

Throughout the summer there are many great events planned across the Grand Strand and Myrtle Beach. Why not book your vacation during one of these exciting events and give your family even more to look forward to?
As summer approaches, we will be adding more and more events to our Myrtle Beach calendar. But, there is already lots of fun things planned, so we’ve narrowed it down to the top Myrtle Beach summer events that you don’t want to miss:

1. Coastal Uncorked: If you are a food lover you won’t want to miss this chance to try some amazing food from the Myrtle Beach area from June 3 through June 9. This event will include music, tasty dishes, delicious wine and more!

2. 15th Annual Murrells Inlet 2020 Golf Tournament: A yearly tradition, this tournament will take place on June 22 at the Blackmoor Golf Course in Murrells Inlet. This fundraiser for Murrells Inlet 2020 will include a day of fun golfing as well as contests for participants. Sign up your team today!

3. Art in the Park: On June 22 and 23, art will come alive at Chapin Park in Myrtle Beach! For art lovers as well as casual shoppers, this event gives spectators a chance to browse through a variety of art in various mediums and meet the artists themselves.

4. Murrells Inlet 4th of July Boat Parade: If you want to experience a true inlet-style 4th of July then the Murrells Inlet 4th of July Boat Parade is for you! Parades are always fun for the whole family to enjoy and they are even more fun when the parade is done on the water! Later in the evening there will also be a fireworks display. Plan to spend the whole day in Murrells Inlet for some good ol’ fashioned fun!

5. George Jones Concert: Country music lovers won’t want to miss seeing George Jones live this summer! On Aug. 23 he will take the stage at the Alabama Theatre at Barefoot Landing. One of the biggest names in country music, George Jones is sure to draw a large crowd so be sure to get your tickets early before they sell out!

Beyond these top Myrtle Beach area events, there are a variety of ongoing events all summer long like Pelican’s Baseball Games, Cool Summer Evenings at Brookgreen Gardens, Fireworks at Broadway at the Beach and more!
