Pirate Ship Playground Now Open!

Did someone say oceanfront pirate ship playground?

Oceanfront pirate ship playground

If you are familiar with Myrtle Beach's Cabana District, on the Golden Mile (a quietier, residential area towards the north end of Myrtle Beach), you have likely passed by the Gardens By The Sea park, located near the 5400 and 5500 blocks of North Ocean Boulevard. This oceanfront public park recently unveiled a brand new playground structure for kids - shaped like a pirate ship!

Perfect for oceanfront fun, the playground features a slide, climbing ropes, dolphin-shaped riders, and more! Parents can relax beneath the shade at the adjacent covered benches while their kids sail away into fun!

If you have a little pirate fan in your family, be sure to stop by this park on your next visit to Myrtle Beach. It is free and open to the public. It is just a quick walk on the beach from nearby Golden Mile resorts, including Forest Dunes Resort and Beach Colony Resort.
