SALUTE FROM THE SHORE

Military Flyover and Salute to America's Armed Forces to take place on South Carolina Beaches this 4th of July

WHO: Salute from the Shore, LLC has partnered with South Carolina coastal communities to create a Salute from the Shore. Everyone is encouraged to participate by dressing in patriotic colors and saluting the Flyover as they pass over our beaches.

WHAT: Salute from the Shore, a nonprofit, grassroots group has coordinated a special opportunity to Salute America?s Armed Forces from the beaches this July 4th. An Air Force C-17 will fly low over the beach as South Carolinians watch from the shore dressed in and waving the red, white and blue. Our goal is to capture the event on video, and also to have individuals submit their own Patriotic videos, pictures and comments to [email protected] or find us on Facebook at ?Salute from the Shore.?

WHEN: Sunday, July 4, 2010 beginning at 2:00 PM, sharp. The schedule is:

Myrtle Beach 2:03 PM Surfside/Garden City 2:06 PM Pawleys Island 2:09 PM Sullivan?s Island 2:26 PM Edisto 2:35 PM Beaufort 2:39 PM Hilton Head 2:43 PM

WHERE: At the Beach! The Salute will be visible from any SC beach.
