One of the best things about being in Myrtle Beach in the summer is getting to enjoy the sounds and sites of the Myrtle Beach Pelicans Minor League Baseball team!

The Pelicans, now an affiliate of the Texas Rangers, have been in Myrtle Beach at the BB&T Coastal Field since 1999 and have been bringing more and more fans in each year.

The fun never stops and there are a lot of additional perks to attending a Pelican's game. Each night they run specials ranging from $1 Hotdogs, $1 Beers, post-game fireworks shows, team poster handouts, webkins handouts, Pelicans Hat giveaways, and much more. They also have post-game activities after EVERY game. These activities consist of the tennis ball throw, kids-run-the-bases, and others.

The Pelicans feature many different seating options but all of them make you feel like you are a part of the action. And because VMB has the priviledge of having the Pelicans as a partner, guests can present their key card at any game to receive a free Meal voucher (hot dog, chips, small soda) when they purchase a regular price 2011 field box, reserved box or reserved bleacher ticket direct at BB&T Coastal Field box office.

The summer is almost over and that means baseball season will be winding down soon also, so be sure to take advantage of your chance to see the greatest baseball team on the beach!
