What’s Nearby: The Caravelle Resort

One of the great advantages of staying at one of the Vacation Myrtle Beach resorts is that on registering you are given a VMB card. This can be likened to a “universal coupon”, since it gives the bearer discount at a wide range of attractions throughout Myrtle Beach, ranging from restaurants, golf courses, shops, services and other attractions along the 60-mile strand. The Caravelle, located midway between North Myrtle Beach and the International Airport, is close to several VMB partner restaurants like:

Lombardo’s Bistro – a family restaurant where the menu includes a variety of traditional Italian recipes and sea-foods. The bistro is located in 79th Avenue North. Chef and owner John Lombardo offers a free appetizer with entrée orders. 

Carolina Roadhouse – located along N Kings Highway, this family restaurant specializes in catering and takeaways and has a menu to suit all tastes. Expect a free appetizer with your entrée order.

Texas Roadhouse Grill – can be found in the Coastal Grand Mall and offers 10% off all food orders. This restaurant specializes in steaks but has a wide variety of other choices on its extensive menu. Well worth a visit.

These are just three of the many restaurants close to the Caravelle where you can use your VMB card during your Myrtle Beach Vacation. Other VMB partners close to the hotel include Ripley’s Aquarium, their Haunted Adventure and Believe it or Not Museum, the Alabama and the Palace theaters, and House of Blues, a Murder Mystery Theater venue.
