With fall fast approaching you may want to consider booking a Myrtle Beach Vacation. With low rates, less crowded beaches, pleasant weather and plenty to do, fall is the perfect time for your next family vacation! Here are the top fall festivals in the Grand Strand and the surrounding areas that you don’t want to miss:

Dog Days Blues and Jazz Fest

Date: September 16, 2017
Where: La Belle Amie Vineyard, 1120 St. Joseph Road, Little River
Time: 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Society of Stranders Fall Shag Migration

Date: September 15-24, 2017
Where: North Myrtle Beach
What: Shag dancing celebration, classes, entertainment and more

 

Aynor Harvest Hoe-Down Festival

Date: September 16, 2017
Where: Aynor
What: Parade, live music, street dance, vendors and more.
How much: Free admission

 

2017 Brunswick County Intercultural Festival

Date: September 30, 2017
Where: Odell Williamson Auditorium Lawn, Brunswick Community College
What: Food tasting, vendors, and performances from different regions of the world
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
How much: Free admission, fees vary for food tasting

 

South Carolina Tobacco Festival

Date: September 7-9, 2017
Where: Lake City
What: Arts and crafts, yard sale, Run/Walk 5K, entertainment, carnival rides and more.
How much: $25 entry fee for 5K, ages 10 and up (9 and under free with registered adult)

 

7th Annual Wine Fest

Date: September 16th, 2017
Where: Valor Park at Market Common
What: Wine tasting, vendors, food sampling, live entertainment and more.
How much: Free entry; $5 wine tasting glass, sample prices vary

 

Atalaya Arts and Crafts Festival

Date: September 22 - 24, 2017
Where: Atalaya, Huntington Beach State Park
What: Arts, crafts, food and live music
How much: $8 for adult day pass, $10 for adult multi-day pass, 15 and under free

 

13th Annual Irish Italian International Festival

Date: September 30, 2017
Where: Main Street, North Myrtle Beach
What: Food, entertainment, vendors, dance groups, food competitions and more.
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
How much: Free admission

 

Brew at the Zoo

Date: September 23, 2017
Where: Brookgreen Gardens
What: Craft beer tasting event
How much: $40 per person

 

Pawley’s Island Festival of Music and Art

Date: September 5 - October 21, 2017
Where: The Reserve Golf Club and Georgetown Historic District
What: A variety of events make up this festival including the Pawleys Island Wine and Food Gala, Chalk Under the Oaks, and musical performances.
How much: Varies per event (Free up to $100)

 

St. John’s Greek Festival

Date: September 28 – October 1, 2017
Where: St. Johns, intersection of 33rd Avenue North and Highway 17 Bypass, Myrtle Beach

7th Annual Grand Strand Mustang Stampede and Classic Ford Car Show

Sons of Italy "Festa Italiana"

What: Italian food, vendors and more.

Friday Flashlight and Firework Nights at Thompson Farm

Dates: Friday Nights in October
Where: Thompson Farm and Nursery, Conway
What: Corn Maze by flashlight, outdoor movie, fire pit and fireworks (select Fridays)
Time: Dusk until 11:00 p.m.

Corn Maze at Thompson Farms

Harvest Home Weekend Festival

Date: October 7-8, 2017
Where: Brookgreen Gardens
Time: 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
What: A variety of family fun fall activities such as hay rides, pumpkin painting, entertainment and more.

 

13th Annual Little River Shrimp Fest 

Date: October 14-15, 2017
Where: Little River
What: Children's area, vendors, expos, fresh seafood and more.
How much: $4 per day in advance, $5 per day at the door; children 12 and under free; food available for purchase.

 

Cruisin’ The Beach

Date: October 12 -14, 2017
Where: Broadway at the Beach
What: Custom car show
How much: Free to view

 

38th Annual Loris Bog-Off Festival

Date: October 21, 2017
Where: Downtown Loris
What: Chicken Bog cooking contest, concert, car and tractor show, fireworks and more.

Rock Back the Clock Music Fest

South Carolina State Bluegrass Festival

Date: November 23-25, 2017
Where: Myrtle Beach Convention Center
What: Indoor festival features a variety of bluegrass singers and bands.
How much: General Admission $40 adult for one day, $20 per child 7 to 15 for one day and under 7 is free with adult; 3-day passes are also available.
