Halloween in Myrtle Beach

There are always countless things to do in and around Myrtle Beach to celebrate Halloween. This year Halloween falls on a Wednesday, so most of the events take place on the adjacent weekend. As always, you should check with the local venues just in case there should be a change due to weather.

Friday, October 26

*Kid-Friendly* From family-friendly frights to spookier challenges for the brave of heart, the Atalaya Fall Festival and Haunted Castle is definitely where you’ll want to be this Halloween! Escape the not-so-scary maze, or test your courage as you tour the Haunted Castle. There will also be carnival games, smores, children’s crafts, and much more! Be sure to catch the spooktacular fun on both Friday, Oct. 26 and Saturday, Oct. 27 from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for children ages 6-15, and children 5 and under are free.

Who says Halloween has to be all scares and no giggles? If you are looking for a few laughs, head to Carolina Improv to enjoy a spooktacular show. Uptown Theatre showcases local talent trained in the art of improv. The Halloween special, Whose Boo Is It Anyway is an improv comedy special filled with tricks and treats for adults, creating a totally unique and one-of-a-kind experience. This 13+ show will start at 7:30 p.m. on the 26th. Call (843) 272-4242 for more information or to purchase tickets. If you are looking for a nearby place to stay, Sea Watch Resort is just a short drive from this fun Myrtle Beach event.
