Myrtle Beach Itinerary: South-End Vacation
Are you planning on staying in a south Myrtle Beach resort during your vacation? If you are planning at staying somewhere such as the Landmark, hotel BLUE, Captain’s Quarters or Palace, then you will want to make sure you hit up all of the popular attractions on the south end of Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand. We’ve compiled a sample itinerary for your south-end Myrtle Beach vacation.
Sunday (Check-in):
- Late Afternoon: Arrive at resort, check-in, relax in the hot-tub; if you arrive before check-in time you can preregister and enjoy all of the amenities while waiting for your room
- Dinner: Have dinner at your resort’s restaurant or one nearby
- Evening: Get settled
Monday (Boardwalk & Downtown):

- Late Morning: Head down to the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk

Tuesday (Surfside Beach):
- Breakfast: Cook breakfast in your kitchen at the resort
- Late Morning: Head down to Surfside Beach for the day
- Lunch: Have a picnic lunch on the beach
- Afternoon: Head over to Wild, Water and Wheels (seasonal) or Myrtle Beach State Park
- Dinner: California Dreaming in Surfside
- Evening: Relax on the beach and watch the sun go down
Wednesday (Murrells Inlet):
- Breakfast: Breakfast at the resort; leave early
- Morning: Head down to Murrells Inlet and jump on an inshore fishing charter with Idlewilde Fishing
- Lunch: Have lunch at Creek Ratz and stroll the Marsh Walk
- Afternoon: Brookgreen Gardens where you will want to check out the Creek Cruise for a closer look at the former rice plantation and its wildlife

Thursday (Broadway at the Beach):

- Late Morning: Shop at Broadway at the Beach and check out Ron Jon Surf Shop
- Lunch: Senor Frogs
- Afternoon: Check out Ripley’s Aquarium and mini golf at Dragons Lair
- Dinner: Shuckers Raw Bar
- Evening: Catch a show at the Palace Theater
Friday (Around Town):
- Breakfast: Chick-fil-A
- Late Morning: Go on a Myrtle Beach Segway Tour
- Lunch: Lunch at The Market Common
- Afternoon: Go jet-skiing with Downwind Sails
- Dinner: El Fiesta Del Burro Loco
- Evening: Catch a Myrtle Beach Pelicans game (seasonal) or bowl at the Level 6 Entertainment Center
Saturday (Around Town):
- Breakfast: Breakfast at the resort
